Geek Squad Device Set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gary from the Geek Squad at Best Buy came to my home to install my new laptop and printer. He was prompt, extremely knowledgeable regarding the installation, very efficient tested everything to make sure it was working properly. He also made sure I knew how to use my new laptop and printer before he left my home and offered to return should I need any additional help.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Agent Andre was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, however, he had difficulty downloading Microsoft Office and thought it was a problem on Microsoft's end and advised us to wait 24 hours. If it didn't download by the next day, he said to call the Geek Squad. We did and we were told first that they couldn't help because it wasn't ordered through Best Buy. Really?! We tried to order it through Best Buy, but our IHA said they couldn't order it online, and that it was something the Agent could help us with when he came to set up the computer, printer, etc. That didn't happen, so it was ordered through Microsoft while he was here. After a few more calls, we did get assistance.....but it was very frustrating.

Excellent Setup

Double Agent Daren Tremblay has helped us with our iPhone, TV and computers several times. When we needed to install the new router, we called and asked for Daren to pick a good router for us and to come set it up. Daren is punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Daren quickly knew just what to do and completed the mission in record time. Daren usually answers lots of questions for us. If I needed another product installed, I would call Daren.
