As senior below average technology person, I love the Geek Squad! "My" technician was super professional, helpful, friendly and considerate. I will use them again when I need help!

Bought an HP Envy Printer from Best Best. Geek Squad (Marcus) installed the printer and it works great. Marcus was professional and answered all our questions.

The technician set up my new computer just the way I wanted, explained everything and made sure I understood. Outstanding job!!!

The agent did all the installation that was supposed to be done. My problem starts before that. When I purchased the computer, the agent apparently did not know that I also had to purchase a new "Office Home & Student" program. After installation when the agent told me that all was transferred to the new computer but I would not be able to save or print because the old drive was so corrupt it would not transfer. He took out the "C" drive and told me to take it to the store and they would be able to correct the problem. I took the drive to the store and I was told that I needed to bring the whole computer into the store. The next day I brought into the store the whole (Old) computer. The next day I brought into the store the old computer with the drive in my hand. A different supervisor greeted me with why did you bring in the old computer. I told him what the supervisor yesterday said that "in order to see if they could to transfer the information without the corruption being transferred I had to bring in the whole computer". He told me that the problem was that "Office" could not be transferred any more and I had to buy a new "Office" program. So I bought the program and when it was installed I was able to print but could not save. Talked to the Geek Squad again and they told me I have to create a new name for each file and save it after doing about a six step procedure. I got the phone number for Microsoft from the agent and I called them. Microsoft told me that with the new program all the saved programs in my computer had to be changed. A new name would have to be attached to each file and a six step procedure would have to be followed (not the same six the Geed Squad proposed) in order to save the document and remove it from a "Read only" status. So in conclusion this was a very frustrating experience. I am curious why the agents representing the Geek Squad did not know that a new version "Microsoft Office" would have to purchased and that all my files would have to be renamed and re saved. I will still recommend the Geek Squad, but I will tell my friend to ask a lot of questions and that you might have to talk to 4 or more agents to find the truth.

The professionalism and technological knowledge was superior. I was reluctant to change but the agent worked me through the process and I wish I had done it sooner.
