I have to say that this is by the best devil may cry game in the series. The graphics are amazing on PS3. Playing this game in HD is fantastic. I also like different Nero/Dante are. Their gameplay styles are both fun and unique. Playing against bosses are even more fun because of the different animations you see. Storyline is pretty good. Nothing shocking though since you can probably predict whats going to happen. Overall I did enjoy this game though. I recommend it to anyone who likes the devil may cry series.

The demo came out, in which i played on the Playstation 3, and i must say incredible graphics. They did not go wrong with this one it's nothing like the second Devil May Cry which if you played it you probably were praying for it not to be. It follows a mix of gamelplay between 1 and 3, however theres new additions, especially in the new character Nero. However i do not want to reveal too much. If you loved the titles on the PS2 its a definite must buy, and if your just getting into it, still a must buy.

Devil May Cry 4 continues to push the envelope for stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and the combo attacks are implemented so seamlessly that it feels like you are playing through a movie. The game is challenging but not impossible and the boss battles are each fun and unique in their own right. The main character, Nero, has a demonic arm that can perform a "buster" which, depending on the enemy, will perform a special devastating close range attack. Watching the different maneuvers the buster performs on each enemy is wildly entertaining, especially on the bosses. The only drawback is the same thing that has plagued the past DMC games: there is not a lot of replay value. Once you've beaten the game, you can go back through and try to beat all the secret missions, find the blue orb fragments, or just try and improve your score, but after awhile it gets monotonous just like every other Devil May Cry. Devil May Cry 4 is visually stunning and the gameplay feels like you're watching a movie. Once you've finished the game it gets a bit boring, but it's definately worth going through at least once.

I just purchased a PS3 last week, I downloaded the demo this morning and played a few times and then purchased the game. After a 20 minute load time at the initial start, the game and graphics where perfect. The gameplay is fluid as are the cut scenes. I had not played any of the previous DMC games, but love the story from what I have played so far. A must buy.

Great game. It can be very hard at times, but it is a awesome game.

I bought the CE for some extra stuff but either way, this is an amazing game... Even though Nero has taken over the series as the new main character, he clearly is able to take that role, he does not lack any elements that dante has other than dante's four distinctive styles (which now you can switch on fly) the game's pace is lightening fast as usual, however the puzzle portion does seem to cut the pace down killing wimpy enemies with your variety of arsenal and special moves are as much fun as taking down big bosses if this game had one problem, it would be the sudden change in camera angles from here and there but its fairly minor oh and also some backtracking you have to do, but i dont mind at all all in all a great game, if you're a fan of DMC series or action games, buy it....

I'm new to the series, but I love this game. The gameplay is challenging, but is easy enough to figure out without the game guide. Can't wait to get to the end.

Overall, it's a good game, but not as great as I had expected, compared to the other DMC games.

I never played the other DMC games, but i did watch the anime so I understand who Dante was. Infact, as you install the game onto PS3, you get a little slide show about the other DMC series! Although you don't need to play the older series since the focus is on a new hero, Nero, you can still play as Dante near the end of the game. The game is extremely easy; however, if you think you have great control in the game, do the side quest/missions! Some of them can be extremely hard. Sometime you will have to redo missions in order to access these hidden secret mission after you have a certain amount of upgrades. Price dropped in the game so it's a good time to get it! It's a great game if you intend to play it 1 or 2 times (for both difficulty levels). Other than that, it'll end up on your game shelf or you'll end up letting a friend or two borrow it after you are done with it.

i love the game and thankyou capcom but maybe its my ps3 although its only 2 days old why does the game keep freezing. i am on mission 3 (i only bought this game along with my ps3 on friday february 29th) and when im in the cathedral when i go through a door it freezez the funny thing is my fifa 08 doesnt freeze???!

I've never played the DMC series before picking this up, so if your not buying this because you think you need to play the rest first, you don't. This game is fun, just download the demo on PSN and give it a try before buying.

The best DMC game to date. Switch between characters is a nice touch, but confusing at first. The story lacks...being the same one we have all been through before. Dante/Nero take on an evil/misguided diety.

Possibly the best DMC to come out! I've personally been waiting over two or three years for this game to come out. Although I don't have a PS3 to play it on, this is a MUST BUY for any DMC Fanatic!

well game play of this is just disspointing. Same oldthing going from room to room everything just looks the same not fun and graphics do not suit the ps3. looks like a ps2 game

This game made me sick to play. The controls are all over the place. Not my kinda game anyways.
