Super fun gameplay with an entralling story and battlepass. The cut scene cinematics are A++ and the gameplay is fun. Battle pass and seasonal content is nice. Can be played couch coop, which is super nice when most games are eliminating the option. The only downside is it *has* to be played online.

An incredibly addictive game, mind blowing graphics, great storyline, and amazing abilities for all the respective character classes. Easy money spent and definitely worth the money.

First of all, while i understand some people are upset about not getting it on release day, the truth is that as usual, a huge company like Blizzard can’t even make sure the game works on day one or two anyway. So even if you did get it on release day you’d be spending your time patching and sitting in a queue, not playing. I received my preorder the day after release. When I tried to play it last night I had a 56gb patch to download. That’s my mistake for buying on Xbox. My PS5 would’ve autopatched the game before first launch.
I played the beta so I know there is a decent game in here. I played last night to the point I had made it to in the beta, about level 5. I started to play today and then I had to bring my dogs outside. I came back in after 5 min to find I’ve been logged out. When I tried to log back in it says my wait time is 983 minutes. That’s over 16 hours.
I knew I would hate the always online thing but I was stupid and bought the game anyway. I hate not being able to pause a game. Sometimes you have to deal with life, you know? And there are some that will say “portal to town!” There is a big difference between saying “yes dear I’ll be right there.” <hits pause> and “yes dear I’ll be right there as soon as I kill all these mobs near me and I can hopefully get to a spot where nothing agros on me so I can portal to town, so probably like 15 minutes.” That’s how you get divorced.
I’ve uninstalled the game. I wish I could get a refund. I wish I hadn’t been suckered into buying this. I’m just gonna go play Diablo 3. It works. I can play by myself. I don’t have to wait in a queue. And I can pause the game.

Been a diablo fan since 2000 and ive played every single game. Im glad i got it the next day it was released, although i feel bad for people who pre-ordered it and got it a week later (which doesn't make sense). I hope bestbuy will improve their pre-order system

Less enthralling gameplay than Diablo 3, but the updated graphics and cutscenes are a welcome feature for this title. I kind of lost interest with my current pay through but I think primarily due to my class and build. Will gladly pick it up again in the near future

If you liked any of the other incarnations of the game then you’ll like this one as well. Farming is a must if you want to max out but not to just enjoy the game. Still a few bugs here and there but nothing game breaking.

Synopsis: Truly an experience with no end and endless possibilities of things to do, monsters to slay, and friends to make.
This is my first dive into the world of Diablo and I have to say that I am beyond thrilled with the plunge into D4. If you are coming into Diablo without any previous experience I highly recommend you watch some YouTube compilations of the story up to this point so you are not completely confused by what is happening.
Story
The story itself is immense, it is detailed, and it is captivating. I will not spoil anything, but I will say that it truly immerses you into the world of Sanctuary and makes you feel invested in the characters and what is happening. I was bought in to what was transpiring in the world nearly immediately--and I've never even dabbled with Diablo before. There is plenty going on with the core story and that doesn't even take into account the throngs of side quests that each add their own piece to the puzzle.
Gameplay
The combat and class systems are immense, they are complex, and they are enjoyable. No two encounters are ever the same and must be prepared for differently and effectively. There are tons of different monsters, creatures, and baddies to fight--all bringing their own flare and techniques to each battle. There is very little in the form of limitations to how you build your character whether it be skills, playstyle, or gear.
Overall what I'm saying about Diablo IV is that you need to get it and take the plunge into the world of Sanctuary.

I played Diablo and Diablo II way back on the pc and then never got back to it as I was pulled into FPS games but I went back and bought this for my old XBox One console and it holds up very nicely. I'm only about 20 hours into the single campaign but am enjoying it immensely. Nice to go back and explore and play while grinding out my rpg character. I'm only playing at the Normal setting so of course it is fairly easy but still very enjoyable. Highly recommend this series as playable at any age.

Just a great game. If you like point and click isometric action games this is a great choice. All the classes have good identities in combat and the story is dark and moody. I highly recommend for Xbox for any Platform you can find. Plays great, looks great. Though folks should know that it requires a internet connection at all times, even single player. Perhaps its one serious minus, is that need for always on internet.
