Had to buy 3 to FINALLY get one that worked. And the sad part was that Best Buy didn't stand behind the purchase of the first one because I bought it early as a christmas present and it took me a while to realize it didnt work and need to return it.

    Amazon Fire/RCA Voyager II/Digiland 7 inch Tablet

Looking for a decent tablet that isn't going to break the bank? Can't decide if you want the new amazon fire tablet or scared of buying a tablet that doesn't have the assurance of some other well known companies like Samsung or Apple? Well I can relate. 50 dollars can seem to go a long way now when it comes to tablets. I was suprised when Amazon announced their new amazon fire tablet for 50 dollars but I don't use amazon all that much and I didn't like that amazon had its own OS and app store that was seperately from Google play store. So I went and searched far and wide. I came across the RCA voyager 2 7 inch Tablet at walmart that was retail 50 but on sale for 35! I thought man that's a sweet deal. But looking further into it, the specs didn't seem to be on par with the amazon tablet. Same processor and same resolution, but no back facing camera, terrible viewing angles, and known issues with battery heating up and even exploding. I thought there's no way it's worth 35 dollars. So I kept looking. I was suprised when I saw this tablet. Digiland?! What in the world is that?! I was quite skeptical. But it was one of the few tablets that seemed to match spec for spec with the amazon fire. Same processor, resolution, great viewing angles, same front and rear cameras, great battery life (for the price). Almost identical just without the amazon OS and Android 5.1 lollipop instead! And on sale for 40 dollars. I picked one up thinking...well it couldn't hurt. To say the least I have been extremely pleased with its performance. I would say it could stand toe to toe with the amazon tablet but the brand probably scares people away. If you're in the market for an inexpensive tablet and have been debating on the fire tablet but aren't an amazon prime member and possibly have apps you want to use from the Google play store, then this is the tablet you are looking for. You wont be able to run advanced apps with intense graphics but you can watch movies on it just fine. Play games without any lag issues (other than high intense graphic games). Also great for children as it also comes in other colors and is only 50 dollars. The cameras are cheap and the resolution is not exceptional but for 50 dollars it will be hard to beat this Digiland tablet.

Got this tablet to use at work for a Pandora app. For the price I paid...there is nothing better. I expected it to last me a month or two. It's still doing the job perfectly! Amazing feat considering the price. $40 doesn't get you anything these days...well, except this tablet!

I read lot of reviews before I bought these for my kids for Christmas. The kids are 8 and 3 so they have different abilities but they both love these tablets. The picture is great. They are easy to use. Meets all the needs I wanted for my kids without breaking the bank.
