A little awkward to use but seems to work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On a trip with my Canon SX50 and realized I had forgotten my charger at home. Needed one urgently. Best Buy store nearby only had this one that was compatible. But had to go to manufacturer website to find out if it was. Box at store provides no information on compatibility and salesperson actually thought it wasn't. Bought it, tried it. Charged the battery. The plastic cover protects the seemingly fragile contacts when not in use, by the way. And be sure to align the charger contacts correctly with the battery contacts.

Awesome Universal Charger
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The battery on our D-90 died while on vacation and we did not bring the charger. We found this little guy in the store. We asked the sales person if we could open the box to see if it was truly universal. Well it was, he even let us through our battery on and make sure it would charge. I am not sure why so many people said it was hard to use and didnt work. I found this thing to be amazing! Adjust the sliding contacts to match your battery and a couple hours later you have a fully charged battery. I have only used it for our D-90 and my daughters Pentex WG-60 camera and it charged both flawlessly. I am guessing charging AA/AAA will be fine, but have not needed to charge AA/AAA yet.
