The remote isn't hard to program for the directv box. Programming it to work the volume on the tv has been a little difficult. Overall it's a good remote though.

This is a great replacement for an original DirecTV remote. It is the old kind, but great for elderly people who have gotten used to the original.

Purchased two of these remotes to replace damaged remotes for Direct TV DVR boxes. They are exactly the same with the same features. If just looking to replace, it's fine unless you want a nicer remote.

Easy to program this remote to your DirecTV receiver. Step by step instructions are on the tv by pushing the buttons on the remote. Very easy to use and would recommend this.

The setup isn't that great compared to other universal remotes I've used but once it's setup your all set. Controller works with many DirecTV boxes and that's all you can really ask for.
