Sturdier than most remotes

I have not had any issues with this remote. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the input button does not work on mine and I have not been able to figure out why. Other than that issue, everything else works fine.

Had it for a month now and it works just like my old one, Controls everything I used the old for just great. Didn't need one of the ones that control a dozen different things.

They kinda have you over a barrel on this one if a remote stops working you have to buy one, i liked when directv offered these in their protection plan. Anything to squeeze a few more dollars out of us consumers I guess!

It’s got dedicated buttons for each function a customer might need in order to operate his/her satellite and TV. The new ones aren’t as nice as this one.

It was a pain to start with and only got worse with the wear and tear of a teenage boy. The new remote responds the way you would expect a remote to respond - with the first press of a button (instead of 6).
