my previous DirecTV remote gave up the ghost just as the COVID19 adventure started. the new remote enables me to continue using my DirecTV equipment while in isolation.

Needed a second remote for AT&T tv. They would not even sell me one. Found out that this would work. Worked fine. Not all of the features but works fine for me

Very glad that Best Buy had a readily available supply of the standard DirecTV remotes when the old one finally broke down. A little more than I wanted to pay, but okay for the convenience and great to have the familiarity with the standard remote.

This remote is the identical remote that comes with the DirecTV receivers: no surprises here. If you lose the original remote, this is the one to buy as it is one of the few remotes left that actually runs macros.

I purchased this remote as a temporary solution to control my Denon Bluray, receiver, and my Genie box. It controlled the receiver and Genie, but did not control the Bluray. I hope to exchange this for the Harmony 350 and use it until I can get a better solution.

The old one I had began to struggle sending commands to the Direct TV box, so it was convenient to go to Best Buy and replace it.

I have a mastiff that has an obsession with these remotes. It's great to know that I can pick one up right away at Best Buy

After one too many button presses, drink spills and other general wear and tear, it was time for a new remote. Fortunately Best Buy carries this item in stock. Simple setup and back in action quickly.

Bought this to replace my parents direct TV remote not knowing that these remotes cannot be university used across all DirecTV boxes, only certain ones. Make sure you read up on which serial number your box is before buying to make sure this remote will work with it.

So glad to be able to walk into Best Buy and pick this up - this is the third one I've had to get though, as over time the buttons do seem to stop working smoothly.

Old controller wont work with new TV and had the same model as this already, so it filled the gap. Did not want one of those generic remotes when I could get an exact replacement. Works fine.

I just wish the buttons didn't wear out so quickly. We have had to replace several of these in recent years simply because one of the buttons stops working. It seems so wasteful.

Although we enjoyed this remote when we first got it, we soon realized it is not compatible with Netflix. So, we had to purchase a Harmony Logitech instead which is working great.

I am not sure how those kiddos make remotes disappear but so glad this remote was available...already programmed and ready to go to get you back to surfing the many channels DirecTV has to offer

It works very well and is very responsive to the touch. The instructions to set it up, however, was not as clear as it should be. Still, I would recommend it to others.

I assumed that I was going to have a problem setting up the remote to our TV, but once you turn the remote on, it connects to your set to advise YOU of how to program it. It works like a dream!

Needed another DirecTV remote, and thought it would be better to walk in and get one than have it delivered and have a shipping charge that doubles what I would have paid for the remote.
