I am disappointed in this remote and I bought two of them. It seemed to have all the bells and whistles you like in a remote. But the RF signal strength is so weak that I have to press a button multiple times to control the TV/audio functions. I have done research to see how to improve the signal strength on the new remote with no success. I was hoping the signal strength would improve but it didn’t. I just got use to pressing a button multiple times. If I use the remote right next to TV it works better. I have gone back to using the original Directv remote because the RF signal performance is a whole lot better than this new remote. I’m gonna look into returning the new remote if not past return date but I think it’s too late.

Unfortunately. I purchase the old model but still works. For the price it was worth it.

Old remote quit working, ordered this replacement online and was impressed how quickly it was delivered to my front door.

It's the DirecTV remote that you can get it Best Buy versus having them ship it to your house. The downside that used to have them with the light button on the side so you can see the buttons in the dark.

DirectTV kept telling me my remote was good and nothing wrong with it. The trouble is that I was using it not them. I finally just gave in and purchased a new one. What a relief. I am so pleased

I sent my son to buy a new remote since he dropped and broke our old one. I like all the options which you cannot find on the newer Directv remote. It does seem to periodically fail which is frustrating.

We had the same remote for several years. Between liquid being spilled on it and who knows what else, it gave out. Decided to stick with what I know works and how to use.

I lost my remote control and look for it at best buy. I founded without look in another store. Thank you best buy

Bought to replace an older dircectv remote. Only problem is it cost $5 more to buy at Best Buy than elsewhere. What's up with that ?

I love being able to find replacement remote controls for my DIRECTV at my Best Buy right down the road. Never a hassle, and always a reasonable price.

This Directv Remote is exactly the same as the one that came with the Box!! As a person ages so does familiartiy, dang wish I was younger that there could be some Harmony!

My dog chewed up my remote from DirecTV. I thought it would be a pain to set it up again. To my surprise I put the batteries in and it worked immediately.

The older style of remote but worked fine and if the updated style wasn’t there would buy again

It’s great to be able to buy a new remote at Best Buy if needed so you don’t have to go through the company to get a replacement.

Works great, now if they would just make them Dog proof.
