Same remote that went out, it was a replacement, so I am satisfied with the new one. Works well. The only difference is that it does not have backlighting.

Old remote was slow, sometimes requiring multiple attempts to do task wanted. New one works first tome every time thus avoiding frustration

This is a great remote except we cannot control the DVD/VCR player on the record settings.

I bought two since both of the units provided by DirecTV both went bad. The new units are the same as the old ones but I hope they have improved the quality of the On/Off buttons.

Not sure why the clicker stopped working but it wasn't the battery. Thank God we found a new one at Best Buy. Didn't want to order on line!

For its job, this remote works very well. It controls the DirecTV box and television, just as designed. The button sensitivity is excellent, although as the remote it was replacing was old, that could have just been worn out. The one issue that I had with the remote, was the price. It was at least twice as expensive as the same remote elsewhere. Unfortunately, my old remote had a failure of the IR emitter and I needed to replace the remote immediately. Best Buy had it, the other place was out of stock.

I have gone through 4 remotes and got Them all right at best buy could have got Them from DirecTV for probably free but Can't wait for the US mail

Dropped my Directv remote and it stopped working. Best Buy had the exact model needed on the shelf so I had a replacement the same day.

It's nice I can just go a couple blocks and pick up a new direct tv controller. Before I would have to order directly from direct tv and wait

We bought this exact same remote and it worked fine until one of the number pads stopped working. Other than that, this remote was great. Just hoping that none of the numbers wear out on this new one.

I love my DirecTV system. In the 15 years I've had them I've had very few issues and only had to buy a new remote because my dog chewed up the other one.

I was very please to see I could get a direct TV replacement remote at Best Buy. They even matched the Direct TV price for me. It was way more convenient then waiting to have Direct TV ship it to me.

Just replacing an old multi/universal remote that didn't work well anymore. Going back to a Direct TV remote because they work better.

Our DirecTV remotes needed to be replaced. Best Buy had the remotes in stock and at a price lower than Walmart!! Thanks for good service as usual.

I contacted direct tv several times about problems with my remote. I finally checked the Internet for replacement remotes. Found what I needed at Best Buy.

This controller and three other worked great until our dog didn't like what she watching and tried to change the channel with her teath

This is just a replacement for my 1st remote contol, that the 0 button quit working. Direct TV is what this remote works on. Just hope this last longer than the other remote had lasted.

The remote paired quickly with the Direct TV tuner. I used the included manual to identify and program my other electronic components.

Good option for a universal remote if you’re a Dish user.

Love that we're able to still purchase this remote. Not fans of the new direct remotes, but this old style is perfect!
