DirecTV box would not accept code numbers from this remote. DirecTV sent remote that worked fine.

I could not get to program to my Samsung, tried all the codes

It’s a good remote for a couple months and then it ends up breaking again. Other than that it fulfills it’s purpose.

Would not pair with my Samsung tv or my Direct TV system

I think that the price for this item is outrageous. It should not be more than $12.99 and it's double that aount.

This remote came with and is mostly used for our DirecTV receivers. It recognized our TVs: a 2005 Toshiba rear-projection TV, and two ~10-year old TVs. However it did not recognize some of our DVD players, home theater systems. Not a big deal. My main gripe is its slow response between remote and receiver, such as when scrolling through channel listings or searching for shows. Otherwise, this a good remote.

love this remote. one of my favorite features is the two buttons that allow you to turn off an tv and satellite both at the same time. Would advise others to buy this remote.

I purchased to remotes to replace remotes my son had damaged at my in-laws. I attempted to order the remotes directly from Directv, however this turned out to be a time consuming project. I found the exact remotes online and my son gave them as Christmas present with an apology note. The remotes are exact replacements and since they are the same remotes there was not learning curve.

My DIRECTV remote suddenly died - even with new batteries it would not work. Trying to change channels using the box is next to impossible, so off I went to Best Buy. This remote was so easy to setup ... followed the on screen prompts and I was back up and running in a few minutes.

I came across this by chance on the Best Buy site while thinking of replacing both an old DirecTV remote and one of their newer mini remotes that are just too small and don't come to hand well, and also had problems recognizing my 4K TV. It was put in the battery and worked for most functions straight out of the box without even pairing it with the TV.

Remote works great. The setup can be a little confussing but its hard to come up with instructions for every make and model of equipment that you may connect to your system but after a little bit of trial and error I finally got Everything working. This is my third remote of this type (because I am really hard on them) and it seems that each one is compatible with more and more models.

Out of all the remotes, I have ever used, this one is definitely the best. Setup is super easy and the remote works with other equipment as well. I highly recommend this remote to anyone that has DirecTV.

My enitre family (Mom & Dad, and their 4 children) became immediate members of DIRECTV the very day that it became available to us in the summer of 1991 at all of our Vacation Homes and all of our Residences. We loved DIRECTV instantly and within 12 months we all had removed all of those 15 ft diameter satellite Receivers and dishes and to the trash they went. Thank the LORD! We had our beautiful yards back!! In these past 19 going on 20 years, NONE OF US have ever had a Remote Control from DIRECTV to BREAK Mid-stream! We have had some issues with the receivers themsleves, but NOT a single one was due to the remote controllers. I am an a Mathematical Science Major and Telecommunications Engineer from UNC-CH! One thing I have always considered to be a PLUS in the technological age is the fact that DIRECTV has kept a version of their original Directv Remote Control that came with it's first model by RCA which was then a BLACK remote with Blue, Red, and Black buttons with white writing with the only MAJOR changes being much LARGER NUMBERS with White Keys with Black, Red, and Blue writing and a white face! Thus this makes it much easier for the technologically challenged generations that are now much older than their 50's!

Works pefectly. Just what I ordered. Ordered online and picked up in store. Very easy and convenient.

This replaces the DirecTV remote that stopped working. It was easy to program and everything was up and running smoothly in 15 minutes.

I started to go with a generic remote and I am glad I went this the Direct tv remote.Put the battery in and working in no time.
