Never worked well from the start. Gets plugged quickly if used on carpet. Any small pieces of paper will also plug it up. Now the motor is making loud noises and sounds like it is going to give out soon.

It picks stuff up and spins it around the brush. Once you turn it off there will be a pile of debris underneath the vacuum head. I am reaching out to the company with regards to warranty

Absolutely the worst thing I have ever purchased from Best Buy. I just vacuumed a room 4 times only to return to big wads of lint strewn across the floor. This thing sucks... just not the way it’s supposed to.

We bought this hoping my wife, who's not very strong, would be able to use this to help with the housework. However, it turned out that with the motor in the handle, it was too heavy for her, so re returned it.

I have dogs, and they hate vacuums. they bark or chase it around or run and howl. There was no anxiety with this one. This charged pretty fast (was not charged out of the box). I have a 4 bedroom house. Mostly tiled but with rugs in every room. It lasted for most of the house. There are 2 settings and I used a combination of them. lower power on the tile and more power on the rugs. The rugs looked very nice after a couple of passes. On the bare floor I did have to go back several times to get the last bit of dog hair. I have had some very expensive and some very cheap vacuums. This is in the middle. The lower weight is great compared to my monster plug in vacuum. If you want a quiet(er) vacuum with a pretty good battery life here is your vacuum. I only have a couple of drawbacks storage for this is not the easiest. The included equipment was lacking but I had a better hangar for it in the garage. I wish it had a light. an LED light does not take much electricity and can be a great help in darker corners.

Hey Surain, It could be time to rinse out your filter. Remember to only rinse it with water and let it dry for 24 hours. If that does not help, we ask you to make sure the dirt inlet tube is not clogged. If it is, remove the nozzle and then remove the clog. This should increase your suction! If you still run into issues, please call our customer service team at 1-800-321-1134. Thanks! Cierra Dirtdevil

Dirt Devil is an impressive stick vac. We have a Dyson and a Sharp for stick vacs. We have a problem with charging both items due to dust build-up. On all of these stick vacs, that seems to be the problem. Check carefully for dust that interrupts the contacts for the battery. POWER: Dirt Devil leads. Holds its power at high level for the longest time. Dyson holds its power at a high level too, but a few minutes shorter. The Shark doesn't hold its suction as well as the other two. OUTCOME: Loving my Dirt Devil! It's a keeper!

I do like this vacuum. I don't believe that it can be a good replacement for your deep vacuuming machine but this one is a good supplementary one. It's not as expensive as some others but definitely not as cheap. The quality is very different from a 200, 300, or 400 dollar one. Steering the vacuum is a bit annoying. The suction is very disappointing. However, I think that it does the job as a supplementary cleaner for daily use cleaning up crumbs. I really enjoy using the crevice attachment that they have. It's easy to empty and clean. Something that people knock about is the lack of a charging station. I don't mind it too much. I do agree though that it is a pain to store. They don't have a place to store the attachments. It doesn't stand it on its own so you have to disassemble and store it that way which is annoying. All in all, this isn't a bad vacuum. There are some inconveniences. However, it's a good supplementary cleaner.

The Dirt Devil Reach is perfect for keeping your floors clean. This vacuum is designed to maximize your cleaning efforts on any surface in your house. I have carpet, hardwood and tile floors in my home. The Dirt Devil Reach cleans them all effortlessly. I can clean the steps with ease thanks to the light weight and durable structure. Setup is really easy, and it is easy to use. The power is complimented by exceptional battery life. I can clean my entire home in a single charge. Phenomenal. I can even use it for other tasks like cleaning the truck. I would recommend the Dirt Devil Reach.

This vacuum compares well and has many good features and a few problems. The power unit is about the same weight, noise, and ease of use as my 2-3 year old Dyson V6 and my newer Shark IONFLEX. The Dust Cup is larger than the Shark and about the same size as the Dyson. It dumps easily with a single button push but can trap hair around the cyclonic filter. Then you either need to reach in the cup with your hands or a brush to remove the hair or remove the whole dust cup assembly and take it apart. It has a filter assy (F109) that is rinsable. But I found that the manual procedures for cleaning it do not work well. I had to use my sink sprayer to really clean the filter. It comes with a good assortment of cleaning tools including a powered stair and upholstery tool It comes with a 15 page good illustrated manual. I was using this tool to clean my carpeted stairs but it didn’t seem to be picking up dirt and leaves. I took off the tool and put my fingers over the nozzle. There was hardly any suction. After cleaning the filter it worked well again. I mention this because the Shark has a “clogged” light and the motor “pitch” goes up considerably when clogged but there is no indication on the Dirt Devil. The battery is not removeable so you can only use it for about 20 minutes and then you have to charge it for over 2.5 hours. But this vacuum is about one half to one third the price of the others I mention, so you can have 2 or three of these to get a longer cleaning duration.

This Dirt Devil is an excellent solution for quick "pick ups" and cleaning hard to reach places like ceiling fans, window shades, and high corners on the walls. Very light and easy to use, with enough power to go through the house and get all the nooks and crannies that the "floor vacuum" won't reach - all without having to hook up the hoses and extensions for the floor model machine. Light and easy to use, and provides a nice "chore" for the kids to be able to help out with the household cleaning.

For those of us not interested in plunking down the bigger money of higher-end vacs of this type, the Reach Max Plus might be just the thing for you. It comes with a small wand (notched for mini-blinds? it would be better to use with something with bristles) which stores in the end of the main hand unit, and also comes with a smaller version of the floor-length power head with rotating brushes. The smaller head attaches like a hand vac and did a great job on a microfiber couch. Be careful to avoid any loose threads or strings since you can't disable the rotating bristles with either power head. There is a 3-bar LED which indicates battery level by the bar, or the high or low motor switch position by the color it glows. It doesn't take long to charge, but likewise doesn't take long to run the battery down (I'd say about 20 mins of use got it from a full charge to one bar.) The floor head swivels a little in either direction. It is light and nimble and would be a nice component to your household cleaning for quick touch-ups or a couple rooms at a time.

This is quite the versatile vacuum, ideal for stairs (runners and face), under low furniture, and on upholstered furniture. The unit is comfortable to carry and reasonably lightweight. Suction is excellent, and the small brush easily removes dog and cat hair from furniture. Battery life is more than enough to clean the above items in my house.

The Dirt Devil - Reach Max Plus Bagless Cordless Stick Vacuum is a wonderful, time-and-effort-saving device. The various configurations are easy to switch out and the ease of using it without a cord is a delight. The suction strength of this unit is better than other units I've used. I also found the attachments to be more powerful as well (and this is at a price much lower than competitors). All-in-all, this is an excellent, portable, lighter-duty vacuum which stands at the front of it's class.

I was surprised when I opened the box that there were so few pieces. It arrived partially charged The initial charge only took about 30 minutes. I vacuumed my bathroom mats and a small portion of carpet in the hall and was very happy with the amount of dirt and debris accumulated in its catcher. I wanted it to use cordlessly to clean my car, It did a superb job. It was easy to empty and simple to change attachments.
