A really good SRPG for the Nintendo Switch. 100's of hours of Content.

Good game. Enjoying so far. Never played any others in the series.

Really good storyline and fun game but too many repetition stages.

You don't need to have played other entries in this series to jump into Disgaea 5 but the amount of options can be overwhelming. The beauty of this SRPG is that it's begging you to form the perfect team and win each battle by breaking the game with absurd combinations.

This game is exactly the same as the PS4 versions. Except all the dlc is included and the game is now portable. Unlike d4 and d3 portable editions there is no new story content. It'd be nice but it's not a must. Ridicoulus large damage, characters and classes by the bucket load, random dungeons, stats to the max, and bizarre cast and story. Ticks all the franchise boxes!

If you haven’t played a Disgaea game in a while, don’t worry: it’s still the addictive as it’s always been. What I’ve always loved most about Disgaea - there’s practically no limit to what you can do if you have the patience and conceptual understanding to do it.

Played Disgaea 5 back on the PS4. This version on the Switch comes with all the DLC built in on the cart! Great strategy RPG and in normal Disgaea fashion can sink in hours and hours of grinding your perfect team. Great to have this on the go!

Growing up I had played a couple of the Disgaea games and when I saw that the switch had this I knew I had to buy it. If you like turn based games you will like this one. It adds different elements to the fighting system which is a cool addition.

Funny story and characters. Good depth of play here.

Fun game, I've played previous versions before, so I knew what I was going into but this series has always been my fix for FF Tactics. Also, being an Anime fan will help because there is a lot of it. Overall, its perfect for what it is and it does what is does perfectly. I took off one star because the menu's are a bit much and can be overwhelming.

solid game that scratches that jrpg itch that few are doing

If you know Disgaea, you know exactly what you are getting into with this. All of the elements are there: high stats, bombastic enemies and animations, demons and angels, etc. If you liked other entries in the series, this is a sure bet.

Great if you're already a disgaea fan and probably the best to start with if you are not already. Light hearted story, but similar to the previous entries, making it kind of tedious if you have played the others. Most of the game's meat lies in the post game, where there are endless hours of grinding and a diablo style loot fest.

Prior to Disgaea 5 I've only spent real time with the first game. Mostly because I knew I couldn't commit the time. But the unique abilities of the switch means more control over play time at home and away. Combine that with the insane strategy/rpg depth of disgaea, plus its awesome characters and world and I'm hooked again.

The game is good and functions well with the Switch.
