Excellent Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you like Dishonored 2, then Death of the Outsider is a great sequel. While going from Dishonored 1 and 2 can be a bit jarring and disorienting (different mechanics, abilities, scenery, and graphics), going from 2 to Death of the Outsider is super easy. Death of the Outsider is set in Karnaca, and so far I've visited at least 2 places that are familiar to me from Dishonored 2. Billie has different abilities from Emily (or Corvo, or even Daud for that matter), but that doesn't make this game any less enjoyable. If anything it makes it more interesting as a lot of Billie's abilities are unlike that which we've seen before. For example, Billie's Foresight is completely different from Dark Vision, in the aspect that she astral projects while time is frozen, giving you a chance to look over your surroundings. Even when being attacked by guards. There's been a couple of times where I've thought "Man, if I had any of the other's powers, this would be a breeze" and I think that's why Billie's abilities are so different. This is a fantastic game, 10/10, would recommend.

A Thrilling Edition in an Impactful Series

It takes advantage of a significant plot point in the preceding game as an additional background to it's own rather unique story within the setting. The change in skill mechanics are also quite welcome, given that they provide a great deal of freedom on how you approach the missions of the game. However, it should be said that the choices are somewhat less noticeable as they were in the previous games. All in all, it is a wonderful game, and hopefully not the last to be seen from this series.

A perfect ending to Dishonored 2
