The DI 2.0 Avengers playset (which comes with the Starter Pack) is like the Incredibles playset in many ways, except it's Manhattan & not Metroville. And it's the Avengers instead of the Incredibles. Monster spawning (where you could not take many steps in Metroville without a swarm of bad bots attacking you) is very much toned down in Manhattan, which is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your opinion of fighting the bad guys.

I purchased this for my son, who is 4 years old. Since setting it up he has wanted to play it non-stop. He has 5 characters and loves to switch out between them in toybox and add the extra pieces. This is a game that I can let him play and not have to monitor it the entire time, helping him, as he is learning how to work the system and better his hand/eye coordination and motor skills.

I had no idea about the things you could do in this game. my nephews love it.

I am 23 and just got this and it is very fun, it is a great game for any age.

With Infinity 2.0 - Disney has added Marvel to the mix - and with that skill trees for all characters and a level cap boost. This does give the game a nice rpg-lite feel and some genuine choice in how you shape your characters progression with skill trees added for all characters old and new. It's a fun lite game and the comic touch of Marvel characters is pretty cool.

We skipped the first Infinty and was attracted to this one though. With all the excitement I have to admit I was let down. The collectable toys are awesome, but the game is very plain. The graphics are sub par PS3 level, sound is horrible (doubt it's true 5.1) and levels are the same enemies over and over. Look, I get this is a "kids game" and level design, sound and graphics are not important, but I'm not paying a 'kids game" price here. I feal that the for the money the game should be much more polished. Camera and character controls are pretty bad as well. You can have a kids game and it still be polished. Compare this to Lego Marvel and that game is much superior than Infinity, so it can be done. I've heard the Toy box is where the fun really is and so far the tutorials on it are rather hard to follow, much too hard for children the game is intended for. With some more playing I'm sure it will be the majority of the time spent on game, there's just a rather large learining curve for it.
