Definitely different but okay. Could scare children.

Not a bad Christmas movie for kids. Price was reasonable at 6.99 and the movie is a classic tale.

OK - haven't watch it yet, but have viewed it previously on TV.

A Christmas Carol is my favorite story ever. I have a few versions of it on dvd. This movie is animated, which I did not realize before watching; it has a stiff look to it. Second, the voice work doesn't really "work" theatrically. Jim Carrey gives a "one note" performance throughout most of the story. Even Colin Firth sounds "one note" as well - keeping the same vocal tone, pacing etc. through most of the story. This leads me to suspect an unskilled, unimaginative director was at the helm because these fellows are both wonderful actors. I won't watch again, will put it into the donation box. A child might like it.

Not a good version of a classic tale - not for children- I gave it away!

This was just bad. Out of all the versions I have seen, this was the worst. My wife left to do some chores. My daughter left before that. My son and I hardheadedly watched to the end.

It was an animation movie and I thought Jim Carrie was in the movie. I thought I was getting Jim Carrie in the Christmas gringe movie

My wife and I saw this last year in the theatre and really enjoyed it. We knew we would want to see it again when it came out on Blu-Ray. Well it's out and delicious! The picture quality is great! Our favorite version of Scrooge has always been the 1951 Alastair Sim version. A great version, but it's nice to have a new version that's really good. I think, most of all, the things I like about this version are that they loaded up the soundtrack with Christmas music, which I always thought was lacking in other versions. I also like how the characters look like the actors. I liked it in Polar Express with the conductor looking like Tom Hanks, Zimeckis does it here too. Loved It, and it will be part of our perenial Christmas movie list.

Maybe the best 3D movie yet for home entertainment systems. Kids & grandkids loved it. Became an instant family Christmas tradition to watch this - made me happy I bought a 3D LED TV and10 pair of glasses! And I can't stop listening to Andrea Bocelli's God Bless us Everyone! Definitely recommend to anyone with a 3D TV.

Great adaptation of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." It is morose, dark, oppressive, scary - just like the original manuscript. I reread the original this past holiday to refresh myself on Dickens' writing - made me appreciate this version of his story even more. Loved it.

this is a great Christmas classic redone in 3d. If you are looking for a movie with very worthy 3d effects and a pretty good story, than Christmas Carol is the movie for you. The 3D effects involves snow falling right in front of you and some pretty good depth as well. The story is pretty good does have about a 8 minuet boring part towards the end but its not enough to ruin the movie.

This is one of the best 3d movies out. Graphics are remarkable. Played on a samsung 7000 with samsung 3d player.

I loved this film. It was colorful, dark and just plain entertaining. Loved it!

I had never seen the original Christmas Carol. This movie is so good. Great way to get the family together for A Christmas Carol. Would definitely recommend for the whole family.

A great re-telling of a popular holiday classic! Jim Carrey shines in all of his roles but especially as Mr. Scrooge! Great version for the whole family!!!

Watching in 3D puts you in England along all the classic characters. Even though its animated the character cg is so lifelike. It really just flew by & the commentary by Robert Zemeckis is outstanding. A great watch during any season.

THE PICTURE IS GREAT. ANOTHER GREAT JIM CARREY MOVIE. ONE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

The 3d effects are pretty good. got it for 24.99 Excellent story, but has a couple of boring parts , but this is a very good movie

wonderful movie. it has some parts near the end that i wonder why they were in there. it also took a bit to get used to jim carrey's voice as scrooge too. but all in all, a wonderful version of the story. the animation is wonderful.
