They also praise the game's depth, memorable music, and the enjoyable couch co-op experience. While some find the game challenging, particularly early on, the immersive world and compelling narrative outweigh this difficulty for many players. The rich detail in the story and the many options available to the player are frequently cited as highlights.

Dude trust me get this game it's a top tier rpg that has sooo many tiny details and rewards you for exploration. There's more choice and consequence than most games and you can approach quests differently and I love that. The music and scenery is stunning too. The turn based combat is absolutely genius lol and is definitely challenging but extremely fun and rewarding. It's characters are very fleshed out too. Overall it has basically everything I love in a video game.

This is a traditional RPG lover's dream game! HOWEVER, two things you should know before you buy this game: 1. Turn based combat 2. It's hard even on normal mode I would watch a review to see if this game's for you. If you are into traditional turn based RPGs I do not think you can go wrong buying this.

The choices in this game are endless, and it truly exemplifies what an RPG should be. The graphics are strong, though I always wish for a 60 FPS option. 30 FPS with dynamic 4K and HDR looks beautiful. The controls are well implemented considering all the moving pieces and complexity. This is much more involved than a Witcher 3 or the like, but the mechanics are much more strategic and thought provoking.

    Dual Review

This review is in two parts. Part one will tackle the game as a tactical RPG. Divinity Original Sin II is a very good TRPG, the spells are fun to explore and try, the game flows nicely, the characters are fun to build, and the NPCs have interesting story lines. While it is not as good as X-COM (the best TRPG) or Pillars of Eternity, it comes pretty close. Part two of this review is on the multiplayer. It is awful. There is nothing more disappointing than not being able to bring your own character to other games. You are beholden to that server and that player, who can manipulate your character to their personal whims and you have no say. With the character being on someone else's server, you have no personal investment. It is poorly designed and an overall idiotic idea. While the multiplayer would garnish a 1 or a 2 grade - the single player rates a 4 and why the 4 stars.
