Was totally upset by the customer service sales & geek squad. Purchased this item in store to make sure I was getting the right gift &on the knowledge of sales employee & store promises. Item unable to be used because refurbished incorrectly & remote still engages with another acct. Customer service sent me on wild goose chase to several best buy stores made geek appts in all they sent me on same chase. Only to be told they couldnt fix would or replace for price purchased but of course for revenue increase. Even though when purchasing and prior history with sales staff who said if need to return because refurbished then price purchased @ wiuld be honored laughable. Probably because he wanted to sell item & no one would know what was going on when returned for faulty product & promises. Returned item! Thanks Best Buy et al for ruining Christmas gift!

the drone arrived with a broken gimbal I should have done my homework this thing has absolutely terrible reviews (refurbished version at least) never again from now on I'll just stick to new i guess the old saying is true "you get what you pay for"

I'm disappointed it didn't come in it's original box, or any box for that matter, nor did it have the user manual. I had to print my own. Just because it's refurbished doesn't mean you should skimp on the basics. It was still a lot of money.

Upon opening i found one of the prop arms was hanging by the wire. Parts missing. Called best buy and said I need to bring it back for a refund and go through the whole pirchase process. Geek sqaud recertification is false advertising. I learned my lesson go somewhere else for yours.

Refurbished drones are returned drones. The one i received was on TERRIBLE condition. It should be called junk drones with missing parts. These are not DJI refurbished, they are returned with half the stuff missing and they still turn around and sell them again at a high price. Pitiful

I also had bought the refurbished and it came with a broken gimble. I took it into the store and they offered a discounted price of the difference for a new one. I almost wonder if they’re doing this refurbished stuff to get us into the store. Either way the dudes were nice about it and it was a quick process. The refurbished products need to be better.

Well, I should have known better. After reading all the negative reviews, I still decided to try my luck and thought surely Best Buy must be aware of all the issues these refurbished units have had, so the Geek Squad MUST be checking to make sure the previous owner's account isn't still active before sending the units out now, right? WRONG! After excitedly waiting a couple days for it to arrive and stupidly buying a few accessories before it got here, I opened the box and powered on the controller to find that it was still signed in to the previous owner. Interestingly, I could see the flight history, so this drone was flown for a total of 1.66 hours on December 25 and 26 of 2022. Save the headache, stay away from these refurbished units. The Geek Squad clearly hasn't gotten their stuff together on these and I'm guessing when I return this, they'll just send it out to another sucker to repeat the cycle.

Order came in about 1 week, and ive been flying it every other day since. I recommend buying some free world nd filters off amazon. Tends to over expose filming in auto mode.

Everything seem s to be in good shape. The nail I noticed a couple weeks later the I could not mount a filter to the lens because the tabs had been broken off. I highly recommend that nobody buys Best Buy renewed, Geek Squad Inspected, or Best Buy refurbished products. The amount saved is the amount to send it to the manufacturer for repair. Highly dissatisfied. Do not fall for it!

Was supposed to be 'Refurbished' but previous owners info was still in the data bank. Some Rotor blades were missing also. Have to contact DJI to figure-out how to re-register it into my name. Will recommend it for someone who knows how to work on a 'Refurbished' Drone.

The drone arrived 1 day earlier than I was first told it would arrive. It works perfectly, I just had to log out the previous owner.

Poor…. Product was still registered to past purchaser for product checked by Geek Squad and certified??? Best Buy should be embarrassed!!!

Dji should be really concerned. Best buy claiming these are refurbished when dji indicated to me they are not. Drone shows heavy use along with wear and tear! Drone is even still bound and registered by previous owner making the drone an expensive paper weight. Dji indicated they can not remotley unbind the previous owner account making the drone useless. I will be returning. Dont buy used drones from best buy!

Item arrived in non functioning condition. Device read "ESC Error". After speaking with DJI Customer service they advised me that this means that one of the motors isn't working correctly, therefore the unit will not fly. It states that the Geek Squad thoroughly tests these units before selling...I find that highly unlikely. Additionally, the unit reads 179 days left on warranty... Bestbuy said it will be 12 months... BestBuy customer service was not very halpfull in rectifying the situation either. very dissapointed with my experiance with this.

Very pleased with purchase. Low amount of prior flight time. Was a lot of work to get DJI Care Refresh but was possible.

If you don’t have enough money to buy brand new, getting it refurbished is a good opt

DJI is the leader and drone technology and this is the best straw I’ve ever flown amateur and pro recommend it highly

Came in basically like new. Just no original box but still well packaged.

Came with no mounted propellers And the ones in the box were the wrong propellers. Sent back
