So I threw the dice, despite reading many recent reviews, and suffered the same fate. The hardware itself seems fine and likely works fine. THE PROBLEM with so many of these refurbished drones is that once they are bound to an account (that is, the account of the original owner) and not unbound by that account owner, the drone is effectively useless. Do the people at Best Buy appear to make even the slightest effort (which is what it takes) to check to see if the drone is still bound to an account before reselling it? Apparently not, and this is just completely unacceptable. So now I have to go through the hassle of the refund process. Wish me luck.

Upon receiving the item, all looked well. The box did have some slight damage but nothing major. The item looked like it was in brand new conditions. Unfortunately, as I started the setup process I noticed the drone was bound to the previous users’ account. I contacted DJI, but even after showing proof of ownership they were unable to unbind the device from previous owner. They stated they would reach out to the previous owner and ask that they unbind the device. I waited several days but finally decided to return it, as it was not worth waiting.

The drone was in a box. Neatly package and appear new. Serve me well and I’m happy.

DJi make s the best Drone on the Market. Very user friendly and very easy for beginners. Gteat Drone to buy.

mine looked basically brand new not a ding or scratch even on rc nothing with all accessories and box activated within 5 minutes everything is working

It was super easy to set up and start, it takes time get comfortable but once you get comfortable it's relatively easy to control

This was a heavily used drone. It came bare, just drone and RC. No extra blades or charging cables. Drone itself doesn't work properly. Better to buy a NEW product. Don't venture on a used one

Cosmetically it looks great. As soon as you turn on the drone you can hear a high pitched fan noise. No offense to Geek Squad but I highly doubt it was "refurbished" and instead just a return repackaged and resold...

Bought this one as open box and it's great! everything is in very good condition and so easy to fly. It's lightweight too.

I recevied this product in good shape, and been flying it quite abit. Very fun.

Ordered a reconditioned DJI mini 3 pro. I returned it was missing parts. I tried to contact the closest Best Buy’s to see if I could get the missing screws for the propellers. Phone system kept sending me to customer service phone center in India. There only solution was to send it back! I live 100 miles from the closest store. I don’t drive there but maybe once every other month. Could not talk to anyone at the local store. I would have kept the drone if I could of gotten the needed screws. This cost Best Buy’s a $650 sale. New store policies.
