Portable size makes it easier to carry with you on trips. Flight time can be longer but acceptable.

If your begging or have some experience get this .keep in mind that if you wanna use the DJI goggles with this drone you will have to connect them with a cable to controller This drone uses WiFi not occusync .it gets about 20 minutes 21 minutes flight time in p mode not in sport mode. Quality is good .loudest drone ever you can forget about sneaking up on someone. Lol fly safe

This is a great little drone with some amazing features including obstacle avoidance, hand gestures, 3 axis gimbal and 4k 100mbps camera, active track and quick shots. So why did I only give 4 stars? For some reason, I've had to calibrate the compass for every flight even from the same location. This is a total pain and if calibration fails, the bird will not fly. I could go 200 miles with my old Phantom 3 Standard and didn't have to re-calibrate. DJI needs to fix this in a firmware update. I'm going to give it a recommendation but would check forums for a fix before purchasing.

This is a simple review. I love this drone and it is surprisingly well built. (took a couple nasty crashes like a champ) Flies very stable and the camera is great for video. Pictures are so-so, great color and options, but ok detail. Everything else is great. Battery is not the best as it lasts about 12-20 minutes each. I wish for the price you could get a better one out of the box.

Bought it for my son's birthday and he spent hours learning, assembling and followed the app lesson to fly it. Something to keep him busy outside during the pandemic instead of being in front of the peripherals all day. Easy to assemble, setup and sync on the app. Beware, you have to get used to flying using only the video feed to avoid crashing or hitting power/comm. lines and tree branches to prevent damages to your drone. Overall, very satisfied and happy with the purchase. Expensive, but when you get a great deal during the Deal of the Day, it's even more satisfying.

I bought this to take aerial pictures of my property in rural Wisconsin. It takes a little getting used to, but once you understand what you are doing, it is great fun to fly. I bought a 10 inch tablet plus a 3rd party mount to use as the UI. I did not like using my phone because the arms that hold the phone interfere with the UI elements used to control the takeoff of the drone, that was very annoying. I strongly recommend that you check to see what the flight restrictions are around the area you intend to use it. If you are in a no-fly zone for drones, you will not be able to use it. That is just a caution to you as a consumer: be aware of restrictions and understand how they affect you. Also, I recommend that you watch several use and configuration videos on you tube to get familiar with the controls and settings before you take your first flight.
