I used it to film a promotional video for my church men's group camping trip and got a lot of good footage. Love the 4k feature. I bought extra class 10 U3 micro SD cards and 2 extra batteries on top of the 3 included. I also recommend getting filters because on a sunny day, you need the filter to capture good footages otherwise it will be too white. I still plan to fly more with it.

I like that the Mavic Air is so small and compact. The drawback is that you need to carry additional batteries because each battery gets you a good 15 minutes or so of flying time. Make sure to update the firmware and charge up your batteries the night before you plan on flying it. Unless you have good cellular service where you are going to fly, it would be best to update the firmware while connected to a strong WiFi signal. Or else, you might not be able to fly it at all. One annoying thing about the Mavic Air is that you have to calibrate it almost every time you turn it on after a long time of non usage. BUY EXTRA BATTERIES!!!!

Build with quality. It gives a great fun with very easy to operate. Gestures take off and follow me option is outstanding. In my first attempt I almost lost the drone in the woods and not able to take off due to low battery. But with remote and GPS location I can trace it back and find my drone back without scratches. Absolutely recommended.

This was my first drone purchase, and I had never flown one before. Super intuitive to fly. Beginner mode helps you keep it close by to start. Flew it over 4,000 feet away in Alaska over the Prince William Sound with ease. Incredible footage. Would definitely recommend extra batteries though, on top of the three this comes with as you will burn through them pretty quickly

Coming from a world of DIY drone building I wasn't sure what to expect. With the unlimited amount of customization that can be done with a build it yourself kit I was skeptical to say the least. They have designed a wonderfully elegant, sophisticated and majestic drone. The images and footage that is possible from such a small and refined unit is breathtakingly beautiful.

Being drone rookies, we initially thought of getting just the spark. But after reviewing the features and friend recommendations, we decided to go with mavic air with its more advanced features and yet still remains user friendly and compact+lightweight. We unboxed it as soon as we got it and we knew we made the right decision. (I just wish it came with a Geek Squad protection option.)

My 1st drone was tye DJI Spark. No problem with it and flown it all over the world. I made the decision to purchase the Mavic Air over the Mavic pro and such for its portability and ease of use. When I travel, I always carry my drones so this still fits in my backpack. Most if not all features of the Mavic pro in a small portable and easy to carry Mavic Air. Go buy em!
