Always happy with my dji drones, but this one has me angry. Firmware problems lots of people on forums are reporting. I am not a novice I have three dji drones , and I fly a lot. However I got this Mavic air and did the firmware update. I went to hover from a concrete pad, the aircraft goes to hover , then it immediately pulled hard and fast to the left, right into a big oak tree. Damage was broken right rear arm. I did purchase protection, but why should this be on my dime ? I have never had a problem with phantom 4 pro but the Mavic s , they have issues in my opinion. Come on dji you are slacking.

Think about getting the warranty when you buy this. I took mine on a trip to Hawaii after buying and using it for that week. Next thing I know it has a gimbal overload issue and doesn't work properly which is insane. Look it up and it can be a small ribbon that needs to be replaced but to send it into DJI its hundreds of dollars. Also, the battery life doesn't last as long as they stated when I bought them so you're forced to buy multiple. I understand its a hobby but new products should last according to what they say at least when they are new.

I really enjoy the drone but only one piece missing. Extra set of control sticks are listed but not included. Also think it might have been used before. Small scratches on blades.

No assistance from Best Buy and product directions are not very clear. Example; not direction as the how to charge the remote controller. Had to consult a current user of the product.

Loses WiFi signal often, which is scary. This happens at very close range. Screen also gets pixelated, so the videos aren’t great. Using an iPhone 6 Plus.

It was a good drone. But I bought it and 3 days later they introduced the new model. So I took it back.

Unit would only transmit live video about 75 feet, anything further would break up and freeze.

It's awesome. Very handy to have after a hurricane.

I made multiple exchanges because i got defective units.

I had issues with the quality of the photos when filming. The footage had spots of blurry, noisy footage. This blurriness was especially pronounced when filming sunsets. Very disappointment in the quality of the footage.

The longest I've been able to keep it in the air without some alarm going off is 12 mins. It's generally 1-5 mins at a time. Tbh, it's not cool enough to spend the amount for it.

just... one would like to know that there is a new version of it coming out in 4 weeks and that the price will drop like 500 bucks over the 1200 spent, right?

It was not that best. Battery life is very bad. They provide additional battery but doesn't help that much. Think before buying as restocking fee from bestbuy is 15%

Since I bought it, I'm having problems with connection, I always loose signal, it is not a good choice.

Battery didn't last 20 min at least 14 min then have to wait 1 hr to charge it not worst it to much money for something like that

Very difficult to work. When l purchased this drone for my husband for his 70th Birthday l was not told it had to hook up to a certain phone. My husband wound up having to purchase a new phone at over $400. more. Simply terrible that the salesman did not tell me this before purchasing the item. Once the box was open it was too late to take it back and my husband did not know about the phone until after the fact.

After my impulsive purchase DJI rolled out the mavic pro 2. After comparing this with both pros I soon realize this this was just a noise maker. The range is horrible and the battery life is just as bad. Spend a few more dollars and get the pro 2
