    Gimbal & Video Issues

    Search “gimbal issues”, “video issues”, and “jello effect” and also, one by Sean Ozz talking about the gimbal not adjusting properly after moving left or right on YouTube. You will see major issues with Mavic Pros. I purchased the Mavic Pro Platinum back around July of 2018. I also purchased the Mavic Air in September. Without going into too much detail, let me just say that 90% of my footage are from the Mavic Air and not the Platinum, because the Platinum’s gimbal and video issues are so numerous, that I rarely got to use the drone for filming. I sent in the Platinum 4 times now due to one or more of the issues named above, and DJI has sent back another drone each time with one or more of the same issues still in tact. This means that these issues are so prevalent that they keep recycling the refurbs back to people with the same one or more of the named issues. I am about to send it back for the 5th time for warranty repair/replacement. If DJI doesn’t send me one that works properly, I will post an extensive YouTube video, AND I plan to post numerous posts on all Mavic Pro YT clips I can find. Bottom line, do not buy the Mavic Pro/Platinum. Air is ok. Phantoms are good. Mavic 2, not sure, but research on YT. But DO NOT BUY the Mavic Pro/Platinum. The gimbal issues are just too much.

    Its a great drone, but the gimbal sucks!

    The drone itself is amazing! Its great to fly and I like the build and design. I also like the controller and with the deal you get with two extra batteries and a hub charger. My BIGGEST complaint about this drone is the Camera. I have taken the drone out at times when its very windy and I noticed a lot of vibration on the camera when flying towards the wind. A couple of times I notice the camera would black out and change colors and it almost seemed like the drone fell from the air. I calibrated almost everything from the gimbal to putting it in cinematic mode and even calibrating the sensors. To me I feel like it's a huge design flaw and unfortunately this is the most I can invest in. I should've saved my money aside from the Phantom 4 that I sold and waited to buy the Mavic 2 Pro instead. If I had known about this issue, I would have not brought it. So now Im stuck with this drone and I should've returned it while I had the chance.

    I'm trying to fly it, but the controller says, "Mag Interference-Check App". I looked online at DJI support and tried everything to no avail. This seems to be a common issue and DJI has did nothing to remedy it. I called and had to send in my brand new never flown (zero airtime I'm sure they'll check) drone in for repairs that I'm sure to get stuck with the bill. How's this fair, do they not test the products beforehand? $1100 dollars and I'm stuck waiting for a this product...
