IPhone pro max. It goofed up on me in the first second of use. Maybe it’s me, but I sent it back to upgrade to the pocket 2.

I remember the first time I saw a DJ gimbal in real life - it was the DJI Osmo Handheld Gimbal System with X3 Camera - since then I was eyeing to invest in one in the future but felt that having to calibrate my phone each time to be a bit annoying so I held off on one until I saw the OM4. The new model is very similar to the OM3 in terms of looks and functionality - the main difference (in terms of hardware) was the magnetic feature which definitely caught my eye. Though it was suggested to attach the ring holder magnet to the naked phone (which was huge warning sign to me as it would have left my phone unprotected) I rebelled and attached it to my phone case instead just to see what would happen. Honestly, it worked fine without any issues but it could have just been that my case was thinner than the bulky phone cases. Back to the actual gimbal - calibrating with the phone case on was pretty simple but as a new user to the gimbal system, I felt that the user interface wasn't so user friendly and had to spend some time with it to get to behave the way I wanted it to. At certain times it was a little out 2 of control or wouldn't adjust itself fast enough as I rotated my phone and the handle would get caught in the view which caused the gimbal to rotate my phone 180 very quickly to readjust. But it could again just be me and my being impatient. The removable magnetic mount is pretty neat but doesn't exactly make me feel comfortable using it constantly either - especially on a naked phone. It needs a little more protection - which I hope DJI does come with other attachments now that it's magnetic. The magnet is pretty strong from what I can tell but it's not like I am going to purposely be bouncing around testing it. As far as the design goes - I understand that DJI wanted to make their branding obvious on it with its etched design - but honestly it took away from the experience and made me less likely to leave it on my phone. Less is more. In terms of the software - there is A LOT to go through and a lot of interesting features you can play around with. Tracking is pretty neat, especially for content creators or someone who wants to just record family videos like a baby's first step. I am a huge fan of the included tripod and can see myself using the device with the tripod more than not. Though I wish that DJI also bundled in the harder case like they did for the OM3 combo - the softcase doesn't provide much protection if you want to toss in your gimbal in your backpack. Overall, it's a good product, I can't say that it's AMAZING or innovative but it does its job well. I hope to see more improvements and attachments as time progresses.

I bought this because of the good review , is not recommended if your phone is Android.

Does not work with the S21 ultra, I reached out to the manufacturer and they refused to help me. They insisted it must be an approved phone on their list. Avoid this manufacturer at all costs. The app on my phone would take pictures all right but whenever I tried to video, it would just crash

For some people I guess it might be easy but I have the iPhone max pro and it was so unstable

I have a Samsung s21 ultra, does not let me use 8k 30, and 4k 60. Not recommended for Samsung useres or android users. This products is more towards iphone users. DONT BUY IF YOU HAVE AN ANDROID/SAMSUNG

Bulky and difficult to manage. Not a good choice for backpacking.

If you had a 2010 phone with no camera stability you'd definitely want this. By the way this gimbal uses its own software using 1080p a 60/fps (frames per second.) I felt like I was recording with a toster. Please allow us to controll the gimbal using OEM (original preloaded software.) I wouldn't pay more than $60

Does not track smoothly. The quick magnet attachment is near impossible to find a perfect balance point, leading to a crooked shot. Also I tried to return the item and best buy said to return by 3/5/2022 and they rejected my return.

Had to return within a year. Stopped working. A no for me.

Found cheaper price after purchase and planning to return the item.

4k 60fps???? My Samsung S21 Ultra does 8k 25fps and 4k 60fps, plus why cant we use our own camera and have to use some low quality iphone app.

Doesn't work with most of androids phones an without the app it is useless. I download the mimo app in my LG k40 and it doesn't work so if you have an androids don't get the om4

Do not buy if you're an android user. It restricts your video resolution to 1080p. The osmo 3 still let's you use 4k. How is the newest model a step backwards. Very disappointing.

This is the WORST gimbal. Don't even consider it if you use Android. If you use iPhone, be prepared for weak motors, shaky video, drifting shots and no sound. I am so disappointed.

Do not buy if you’re planning on using it with iPhone 12 Pro Max, the phone is too heavy.

I did not like it I thought it was better and for the price the price I do not recommend it

Gimbal went broken. It cannot be turned on anymore 4 months of light use and it's gone...

Used it twice and it stopped working. Difficult to connect as well as updating. Not worth the money. Support basically non existent.
