Q: Does the clamp works with every phone case?
A: I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with an Otterbox Symmetry case. The clamp doesn’t fit securely on my phone with the case on.
Q: Does this Gimbal support the Samsung Note 20 Ultra or the Samsung Galaxy 20 Ultra?
A: Yes - I have/had both phones, and both fit in the OM4. I use the spring mount rather than the magnetic disc that sticks to the back of the phone because the disc interferes with wireless charging. That said, the spring clip is maxed out with either phone - not dangerously so, but enough so you know that a bigger phone definitely would not work. Software-wise, everything works as it should with either phone. I also have the Osmo Mobile 3 and used that with the S20. Both are great gimbals, but you will not be disappointed with the OM4!
Q: will this work with Iphone 12 pro max?
A: Yes, it will work with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, but only without a case. Some super thin cases may work. YMMV, but generally you have to remove most cases in order for the magnetic clamp to work with it properly. The sticker magnet will also work with it, if you don’t mind sticking it on the back of your bare iPhone, as it is lot recommended to stick it onto the back of a case.
Q: Will this work with a Pixel 2XL?
A: It’ll work with any phone as long as you can download the app!
Q: Can it be used in the rain?
A: Thank you for your question, Cliff. DJI OM4 is not waterproof.
Q: Does this fit the Samsung Note 9 & 10?
A: Yes it will work. I have Samsung Note 10 plus and it works perfectly.
Q: Does this fit the Xiaomi Mi9T Pro?
A: Yes. It will fit.
Q: Can you use this gimbal’s active tracking on a FaceTime video call? If so, how??
A: No. The whole reason I bought the thing. Active track only works on the osmo app which is for video creation and not phone calls.
