I am using a Samsung Note 20 Ultra and the magnetic lock works great. Its very easy to calibrate and provides smooth and steady shots inside and out.

Dji OM 4 it just great for use on cellphones no more big than notes. I use for iPhone 11 that fit perfect. Makes smooth videos while you are walking.

Sooo love, good for everything when you need some vlogging either for family, kids, travel etc.

Just purchased in March 2021 - So far, so good. First time using a gimbal. Still in the learning mode. Great features - time-lapse, motion lapse, 3-axis stabilization, and more. I never took the time to learn about the many optional iPhone settings - the gimbal is helping me to maximize the use of my iPhone. Great video from my first use at Joshua Tree National Park. Plenty of YouTube tutorials to learn how to optimize the OM 4 features. Just experimenting with it on a walk or in your yard will help you learn how easy it is to use.

New magnetic feature is definitely an upgrade from previous models. Software is easy to use and gets great results. We used it last week on vacation and had lots of fun, and professional looking video from it. Explore YouTube videos on their software and how to use before or when you get it, they are a huge help. The only con that I have seen so far is that while in some modes of the software, I have to manually override the phone’s balance points in the software. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Also, you can’t use my phone with a case on it, as it is too large for the holder.

Super cool! I loved using it for a video shoot. Kept the camera stable and smooth but it was challenging to learn all the features. Overall would recommend

Now THIS gimbal CAN IN FACT, support the weight of my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with a case. It is a very tight fit but it does indeed work well for me. Only reason it got 4 stars is because it requires you to use their proprietary software to use SOME of the buttons on the gimbal to maximize your effectiveness of use. I think that because it has the ability to connect via Bluetooth to your phone that it should allow you to use your phones camera software. If so, this thing would be flying off the shelves non stop! They could easily make a larger magnetic clamp for larger phones because it is a super tight fit but it DOES work!

The magnet gives the gimbal and easy use yet after extensive use the motors don’t seem to be as strong as the dji osmo mobile 3, I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I can’t use a case without the clamp falling off and I would never use the permanent magnet option for the back of my phone mainly because I use moment lenses and if I used the permanent magnet I wouldn’t be able to use my case comfortably. Therefore it’s better than the om 3 but if you are going to use moment lenses or don’t want to take your case off I would get the om 3 only issue is stabilizing it every time compared to the om 4 where you could leave the clamp on.

The usability is fairly easy. Not too heavy. Weight expected for gimbal. The guide could be better. Learned more from YouTube and other users to improve use.

recording has been so much easier since ive bought the DJI om 4. the tracking feature is amazing. easy to use controls.

DJI OM4 is my first gimbal and a great tool to help with taking and creating awesome clips with your smart phone! Helps with video stability and effects but also has built-in software to help you create, edit and add music to videos to share with family, friends and social media posts. Works great with my Android and Apple devices although a few features like the slow motion and dyna zoom do not currently work on the Android phone. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a gimbal!
