This Smart Selfie Stick is awesome! Had some Bluetooth connectivity issues at first... going to blame it on my Pixel 6 Pro, But there have been a few updates (Google & DJI) and I have not seen the disconnect lately. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the OM 5.

This is soooo much better than the $50-100 models you find on Amazon. Control is much more fluid and customizable. App doesn't always give you the full potential of your camera, but it does quite well compared to others. Object tracking is very impressive!

This gimbal is amazing but unfortunately my IPhone 13 pro max was too heavy for it. Would work great for maybe 15 mins and then would shut down after motors made some odd noises

This was a life saver on my recent solo trip! As an amateur V-logger i really appreciate the software support on creating and editing videos on the go with lil to no experience.

I was really looking forward to buying this but it didn’t work as great as I was hoping. Certain up and down angles it struggles with. Maybe I’m just used to professional gear but I expected a little bit more from DJI.

I have used this gimbal for real estate and many other functions and it has served a good purpose the only defect is the limit to the servo motor that pans up and down other than that this is a superb gimbal

In phone stabilization is getting better and better where a phone gimbal isn’t super necessary. But it’s nice to have a little extension that’s not your arm and this is super smooth - as smooth as it gets!

This gimbal makes it easier to record videos that otherwise might of been shaky with just using your hand. The extension rode is convenient with this model. Battery life is ok.

This was as I thought it would be. If you’re ok with recording through the app it’s great. Lots of recording options. The material is sound and sturdy. A little top heavy when fully extended but not something I’d make a big deal over.

I am an amateur photographer who mainly shoots still images. However, being that I do a lot of shooting in nature I also find plenty of times I'd like do do some video. This allows me to create smooth videos with my phone in a way I never could without it ( my hands just aren't that steady). It comes well equipped with a carrying pouch, tripod legs and the built in extension (selfie stick style). It feels well made and I don't think I will need to worry about it breaking. Controls are pretty straight forward (power, shutter, zoom and joystick for camera movement). Honestly, I think anyone could use this with ease regardless of previous experience. I'm using it with a OnePlus 8T and it fits great. Now I did have some issues with the initial connection. When powered on, my phone could see the OM 5 in the list of Bluetooth devices. However, the Mimo app that I had downloaded from the Android Play Store just would not see it. I tried reinstalling the app several times but no go. Eventually I went to the DJI website and saw that you can download the Mimo app right from there. For whatever reason, it now works perfectly. I suspect that since this is a new product that the version of the app on the play store might not have been updated for it yet. So if you are having issues, try downloading the app from the DJI website. I do have a minor complaint. The instructions that are included are terrible. I mean, as in of little use at all. That being said, once you get the app going there are tutorials to walk you thru. But I think many users would be better served with printed instructions. In use, I am having a blast with the OM 5! The difference in my videos from hand held to now using the OM 5 are like night and day. And the features are plenty. There are a ton of built in templates (Shot Guides) to help guide you thru making great looking videos. Or, if you are like me, you can really take control yourself. Keep in mind this isn't going to make a bad phone camera look better. So needless to say the better your phone is, the better your videos will be. The tracking works surprisingly well. I have had no issues with that at all. And the battery life seems to be very good as well. So, if you are looking for something to help you make better videos for whatever reason (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, You Tube of whatever) I can highly recommend it. I have a feeling I am going to get a ton of use out of the DJI OM 5!

This is a good gimbal but sometimes the gimbal loose the power and the phone goes down so I have to reset the gimbal, not that often but still annoying. So I still have my OM4 and that one is solid!

Like all DJI products this one excels. I purchased it for my wife so she could stop propping up her phone on books etc. when doing her social posts. She loves it. I would also recommend the light attachment.

So I got the OM5. Eh. Not what I was expecting. The app has a couple of cool features. I would have been OK just getting an app. The extension is minimal. The action of the gimble itself as far as being steady is not much better (if any) than my phone itself. Very limited in range of motion. You almost have to hold straight up or completely upside down to get shots because of these limits. Not the greatest purchase I have ever made. It’s definitely not a steady can. It’s just “OK.” Not really excited about it. IMO, I don’t feel it was worth it for me as YouTube creator.

This is a solid compact stabilizer, but it is a bit pricey. Stabilization performance is good and the telescoping neck is a nice feature. I also like that it comes with a solid tripod attachment.

A must have selfie stick with many options and uses for pictures and videos. Overall it is a good product.Would of given 5 stars but. On the down side the magnetic clamp that holds the phone is complete trash, won’t clamp phones with otter box cases many reviews with users reporting this problem. For reference I have a iPhone 12 mini with an otter box defender case and the clamp still give issues won’t clamp properly on my phone with case. Must download the DJI app to use this device the DJI app is not the greatest.

Works really well. I’m using it with my iPhone 13 Pro and it’s great, especially when using the regular camera app’s Cinematic mode. Would be nice if the DJI OM app is updated to take advantage of the new phone’s cab abilities.

I am a novice with gimbles and this is definitely geared towards new users. Its not as easy as turn on and capture amazing shots and videos but DJI software does help with capturing string of shots to create a great clip.

continues to drop my phone when shooting content and does not stay in place when I put it in a specific direction.

I love this product. It is a compact specialized selfie stick that catches all the action with the 3 axis rotation. What a pleasure to take on vacation and to capture all of your actions.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter. So far she loves it and Dad likes to play with it too. It has some cool shooting features that help taking pictures and video fun to do.
