Great but not what I expected

But after playing with it I felt like I wasn’t really happy with it. Very confused on which mode could do what and after i felt limited to my movements in certain modes on the Osmo.

The only downside I have is that the mount blocks the headphone port on my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone, so I can't plug in an external microphone.

Would have gotten 5 stars had the app had full android support.(App has more options if you are using an iphone) Also has a design flaw. Gimble covers the bottom of the phone when installed correctly. Thus you cannot charge or use external mics.

Difficult Learning Curve

The manuals don't help very much and neither does the app. Big phones have trouble balancing and the app itself seems unoptimized. It is a good weight and has an ergonomic design but will take you a while to set up. Also their software does not support 4k60

Posted .Hey Stealth. Sorry you had a tough time getting Osmo set up. Though the included manuals likely need some optimization, we have a ton of really useful video content on our YouTube channel DJI Support and DJI Tutorials.
When using big phones it's important you remove any additional weight like cases to ensure it's balanced properly and isn't straining the motors and draining your battery
We are currently working on adding 4k60 functionality, but one could always use 3rd party apps when using Osmo Mobile 2 (though you will not be able to use any functions utilized by the bluetooth connection).
Once set up, you should be able to connect your phone and start filming in less than a minute consistently!
