Did you balance the phone on the rear arm? Also, the screw on the back of the phone mount needs to be fully tightened.

It was really pretty easy to get it manually balanced, from there, DJI has an auto calibration mode that dials in the balance even tighter. Fast mode switching by depressing the mode button in simple numeric sequences. Learning curve was short, great, smooth results out of the shoot.

At the end if you are going to make smooth shots it is a very good tool, for me it was just not what I expected.

We are sorry that you aren't happy with the Osmo Mobile 2. There are some limitations with the gimbal, but we believe it can be utilized by most to capture very cinematic footage and tell incredible stories.

The app hooks into works flawlessly. Some of the additional packages you can purchase improve this greatly. However, the footage you get from this look 10x better than just holding it with your hand. I would definitely recommend this for beginners.

The future of phones will determine how necessary gimbals are. My iphone 11 doesnt have much of an issue with the traditional shaky filming that a gimbal helps with but the fluid movement is where it shines.

Otherwise it works flawlessly!
