A couple of hiccups to setup, but once connected to my phone it works flaslessly. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. DJI is well known for quality products and the Osmo Mobile 2 doesn't dissappoint. I removed one star as setup could have been a little easier; however, it might have been user error. Other than that, highly recommended.

I bought this with trepidation since I purchased an Osmo Action camera and ended up returning it because of very poor performance. This on the other hand is top notch. I have a Galaxy S8+ and it is very impressive. This is on par with their drones. I really like the tracking feature and the controls work very well. This is the only stabilizer that I have owned but I am not sure how they could improve it at least with an Android phone.

Enjoyed using this on my tripod to record my daughter's volleyball game on my phone as this stabilized it while I panned in and out. It's not very practical as it is bulky and heavy and drains my phone battery which cannot charge while it's in use. Still worked great and would recommend if those are not your concerns

This is great if you want to create short videos or you are a vlogger ir explorer and you want to have better quality stabalized footage to share. This gimbal is easy to setup and use with your mobile. The battery last long so there is no need to recharge all the time.

Love it. Smooth video, great handling, sync quickly with newer iPhones. Battery life is great. time-lapse feature is great. Only issue, no stand. why a plastic piece that cost $1 to dji was not included in the package? Disappointment. If your going to buy a stand just buy a tripod, don't give them any more of your money.

Very lightweight. Feel good in the hand. It provides smooth video. But beware if you have a very large phone like iphone 8 plus, it's impossible to balance it without getting the back motor in the video (especially for portrait orientation). Also, the apps is not reliable - sometimes it cannot detect the gimbal.

I have been purchasing DJI products without any dissapointing, and this one is not the exception. The quality may look poor (plastic parts) but functionability its great! Using any cellphone you can get amazing quality videos and even photos. The hyperlapse future is the one I liked most. Maybe only cons is the size; transportation is not easy.. but at the end.. the results will make you happy

The footage I've taken with this gimbal is awesome. It was easy to set up, it's easy to use, has a built in charger (though I haven't really used it, in depth) which comes in handy in case of an emergency. Honestly, the only complaint I could really give about it is the fact that it kinda takes forever to charge.

This mobile 2 is a great tool for action video. The app is easy to use and everything is done on your phone (video,pics, editing) which makes it great and convenient. I use it for training videos and you can pin point a specific person or object and it will follow that target. Fun to play and learn the new features since I’ve only had it a month

This is my second gimbal I have owned. This brand is by far better than the previous one I had that was from a lesser known company that is not geared to the US or European markets. DJI is famous for making the best professional cinematography drones. The engineering quality is also evident in this gimbal. The instructions are easy to understand, in proper English with diagrams and real customer support. Functionally it is extremely responsive and the controls both on the gimbal and the app are intuitive. If you're just learning and want to make your videos better, I would also recommend their tutorials on YouTube. It also comes with a nice sturdy case. Really excited to see what I can do with this great tool.

I always hated how my videos looked when I went on vacation they would be shaky and that would kind of ruin it for me, so I looked for a fix and I found this! And boy am I glad I found this the videos look so smooth now it's easy to use balancing it at first is a lil tricky but nothing a YouTube tutorial can fix once it's balanced it's so easy to use!

I have an iPhone Xs max and even that thing holds and creates a great balanced feel. This device is great for beginners and an amazing add on to those amateur film makers looking to get a smooth shot from their phone. I have used this device during snow, rain, wind and never did I run into any issues. I would recommend this product!

My husband has used this to create videos for our church, marketing for our business and misc. videos. It works amazing!! I would recommend using to a newer phone with HD and all that because the video quality will be better. But even if its just a normal/okay phone, it steadies the shot and has a great effect when you re watch it.

Its smaller than the other one so will work great with one go travel a lot. Small and light weight. I have a the other one a little bigger & heavier but thats good for camera with lot of feature. If you want a gimbal for travel this is a good one.

The gimbal stabilizer is a must, if you're looking for stability while recording. It's amazing what you can do while you walk, sit, or stand and not have to worry about moving so quickly. The options to edit are incredible. Simple to download the app to any mobile device. Thank you DJI for the craftsmanship and making my life easier.

I had a chance to use this on vacation, took a minute to get used to it because I have never used a gimbal before, but once I got the hang of it very easy to use! The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the amount of plastic. Not a big deal just because not to drop it. I'll update more as I use it. I've read that users have had trouble connecting to their phones sometimes, I haven't run into that issue yet. When connected to the DJI app, it's pretty cool. Just know your phone will probably heat up fast but I guess that's a byproduct of using your phone. I also bought a GoPro adapter for this and it works out really well. There are some issues with the adapter on this gimbal but that's for another story. This gimbal is designed for a phone not a GoPro. Just know it can be used with a GoPro.

So here we are in 2018, the era of big phones. DJI decides it's not important to include the ability to hold heavier, larger phones. For instance, my Note 8, while in a case, exceeds the weight limit. Not only that, I had to remove the rubber grip pieces that hold the phone in place to safely mount my phone while in its case. Who in their right mind puts an $800+ phone on a contraption without any protection? Lastly, to make it work I had to buy adhesive velcro circles, and attach 2 round weights (magnets) to the side of the gimbal arm and one on the back of the phone holder in order to balance the phone out correctly. Let's hope that for 2019, DJI gives us an updated unit with a 310 G weight rating and the ability to easily switch between landscape and portrait mode. One other thing that would be nice is a stereo mic/line audio input with SD card recording.

Overall, this is a great addition for taking videos with your phone. Setup is a little challenging the first time, but after that it is pretty easy to use. The only issue is it is a little difficult to get videos off the unit.

Charge lasts long enough to get the job done. Great cinematic stability, fun but not the best directions on balancing. But once you get that part you’re good to go.
