Worked for 2 weeks poorly, Now doesn't work at all

The software us buggy and the gimbal itself can be pretty finicky to work with but it did it's job at least for those 2 weeks. If I had to rate it at the end of that trip I would give it 3 stars. Now, after not using it for a few months, I am getting it ready for a new vacation but it is completely malfunctioning. The LED light blinks yellow indicating a motor fault and no manner of resets or re calibration get it to work. Support says it needs to be sent back to DJI for repair which will take god knows how long. A product should work more than 2 weeks if it is going to cost this much and at least perform normally during that time.

For pictures it’s amazing by it keeping your imagines stabilized. For Video it all depends on your phone my friend having trouble with his phone being too heavy that at a certain angle the gravity tried to pull the phone down.

You have to adjust each axis every time you put your phone in the gimbal. When using a wide angle lens attachment the gimbal is visage in the picture. Recording through the DJI app is nice but using Bluetooth drains the battery quickly. Also when recording the DJI app, you have to save a copy of the file one your phone before exporting to another device. This means that in order to record a 2GB clip that you want to somehow get off your phone to another device that you need 4GB of room on your phone (and so on and so forth). The use of the DJI app for recording is thus not recommended when using a phone with limited storage space available which then limits the full capacity of the gimbal. I ended up returning this item.

Posted .Hey Chris, with a small amount of practice, balancing your device could take only a few seconds. The Osmo Mobile 2 was not designed to work with wide angle lenses. The nature of the device means it's nearly impossible to eliminate that issue.
