When placed on the holder, there’s no good way to make it properly balance due to the large size. This is important because before the gimbol is powered On, the phone itself has to balance well. That way you won’t drain the battery on the gimbal for the excessive force on the motor to correct it. It will also take a long time just to set it up. It’s much easier on a smaller phone since it will snap easily and balance correctly.

Had to email DJI 3 times to get the correct directions for syncing to the app. Once it did sync it would lose connection every few minutes and spiral out of control in the middle of filming. Kills battery on phone super fast also, since you can’t turn your phone off with out it disconnecting.

Posted .Hey Nick. Sorry you had a poor experience with the Osmo Mobile 2. What you describe about spiraling out of control and losing connection when you turn off your phone screen are in no way normal and likely require tech support for troubleshooting, repair, or replacement.
