Super difficult to adjust as a beginner and hard to understand.

Clunky to mount phone and heavy. Nice app but disconnects sometimes.

We are daily YouTube content creators in Orlando at all the Theme Parks from Disney to Universal & all things in between. I have loved the DJI Osmo Mobile since the first edition. The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is light, easy to use, very stable and customizable. Use this gimbal with the DJI GO app and you have a powerful content creating power combo. You can maintain & calibrate the gimbal, customize the settings to your preferences on the gimbal controls. This is a great addition to your film making and photography arsenal. High-quality construction and feels sturdy in hand.

Gimbals apparently aren’t my thing. I didn’t see the need for it.

If you're not ready to shell out an extensive amount of cash on other gadgets this one is for you. Pros: easy to learn app is self-explanatory amazing price Cons: a bit difficult to balance at first, but once you get it, its super easy

I was deciding between the Mobile 3, Zhiyun Q, and Zhiyun Smooth 4. After watching the reviews, I decided to go with the Mobile 3. I've now been using this for a couple days now and I haven't been disappointed. I'm using it with a Note 8 and I haven't had any issues with it being a larger phone. The stabilization is amazing and the app works smoothly. I was concerned with the Note 8 being a couple generations old, but the app does allows for 4k recording with it! I wish all of the tracking features would work for 3rd party apps, but maybe they will update this in the future. The standard features do work with apps such as SnapChat, so that's nice at least. Overall, I would definitely recommend this over the competition.

I found the set up and balancing a little confusing, and it looked like my iPhone with a case wouldn't balance. I was only able to balance it flat, no sideways. I decided to turn on the handle, and the machine did the rest! Perfectly positioned the phone immediately. Then I started to play with it and was only mildly impressed. Yes, it was smooth but nothing more. THAN I played with the track me settings and the quick shortcuts on the handle and zoom function, and I was sold. Now I can film awesome videos, with the feel of a low flying drone, with my iPhone. Super smooth. And the panorama function works so well, I've never seem picture with such breadth (see attached). Battery life has been very good. The case is bulky but light. It's worth it to keep this thing safe.

Just used this again last night to film my daughter's dance recital. Wow, what a difference this made. For once, I could enjoy watching the performance, while the camera filmed as I did not have to worry about trying to keep my hand steady holding the camera in place - We watched the videos when we got home last night any my entire family said I should be the videographer for the show as they came out great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take their videos to the next level.

Before purchasing I was reading alot of reviews stating that this product did not work well with the Image Stabilization built into the iPhone X, so I was a little hesitant to purchase the product. I am glad to say that I have not seen any issues. DJI seemed to fix this with the update to the app before releasing the product to wholesalers. I haven't tested it running, but walking everything seems to be great. If you have a 4K camera on your phone this is well worth the money. If you are thinking you can just use a gimbal on the drone to take video while walking, it isn't going to work.

Having used more-robust DSLR gimbals from DJI, I am overall satisfied with their implementation of a mobile phone gimbal. Where does it fall short? - The motors do not seem quite as smooth or predictive as their bulkier DSLR counterparts - but that is understandable. The software/app takes some getting used to, but it works well and seems stable. Overall, it is a good gimbal for mobile phones and I hope DJI keeps up the progress.

The OSMO Mobile 2 takes the OSMO Mobile's best features and expands on them at a better price.

If you use a wide angle lens as I do (sandmarc) The weight does not allow which makes the gimbal pretty much useless. If using just the phone with no lens attachment the product works well

Not sure what to say at this point. I bought one and was super excited to get it home and try it out. First off, the 'instructions' are pathetic. I'm not really sure who even approved of such worthless directions being included with the product. Seriously, it's embarrassing. Next, I charged the unit for what surely felt like a reasonable time to at least try it out. The lights came on, but the unit was otherwise unresponsive. Nothing. I then called a local DJI authorized retailer and the guy working there was SUPER helpful in trying to assist me. But after 15 minutes, he advised me to just exchange the unit. I did. And now here I am, having the exact same issues as before. What's more, is that the videos I'm finding online don't really cover the basics, as in, hey, do this first....(and what to expect) and then do this next... and so on. No, these videos go right into features and benefits, and that would be awesome if I could just get the thing to turn on. Keeping a close eye on my reciept for a quick return and then just forget it. Real shame as I had high-hopes for the Osmo.

In my opinion extra money is worth it for this DJI. It seems to be way more smooth than Zhiyun gimbal that Best Buy also sells. First time setup takes a while.

Great product work flawlessly been three years I still use it

Cheap, non-workable app & device for Android and iOS. I have a One Plus One and iPhone 7+ (everything works for iPhone, right?). Read on.... First, the DJI Osmo 2 app for both Android and iOS does not work. Here is what happend: 1) For the Android, the app requires you to sign in or create an account using either your email or telephone number. I tried creating an account with my email address, created a password, then entered the code on the right side which confirms I am not a bot. Then it says username not recognize. I tried using my phone number, but it asked for a China mainland number (?). 2) Tried my iPhone. Created an account using a different email address. Same problem: username doesn't exist. Again, I was trying to create an account. 3) I bypassed the DJI app and tried connecting via bluetooth. iPhone won't recognize it. I spent about 15 minutes. Nothing. 4) I used my Android phone. It recognized the device via bluetooth. But! But, nothing occurred. I could not use the control on the gimbel to control the Android. 5) Android app on Google Play says it contains ads. 6) Apple's app did not contain ads. 7) The manufacturer's website (actually, a Google search of "compatible devices for the DJI Osmo 2" defaulted to a blog website not even owned by DJI) was dated 2018 showing a list of compatible devices. Nothing since April 2019 showing anything updated since. 8) The manufacture did not appear to perform good quality control and testing its product thoroughly. 9) The app directs you to one of its drone products for registration even though I chose DJI Osmo 2. 10) I returned this brick to Best Buy after spending four wasted time on this product and the app. I am glad the cashier who now was at the customer return area recognized me and did not give me a hard time issuing me a refund. Conclusion: Save your money, time, and gas. This product is abysmally worthless.
