Amazing sequel to the Shining. Ewan McGregor plays an adult Danny, who still has the same abilities as the little boy from the original film. Great story and acting as well.

This followup to the Shining was a great movie on it's own,but it still has a good connection to the Shining that gives it more depth.

This is a good follow up to the first one, The Shinning. Why did it take so lone. This movie answered a lot of questions. Great story, good acting. also, looks very nice in 4k with dolby atmosphere. This is very much worth having.

Love the "Shining "? Little Danny is all grown with some skills of his own. But his life has not been that shiny so far! Great sequel ! Ewan McGregor rocks!

I could not imagine another Shining movie being good at all. This was such an unexpected storyline, however. It really stands on it's own as a pretty good movie, but gets even better with the tie-ins to the original.

A wonderful sequel to The Shining which also feels like a happy balance between Kubrick and King. It being native 4K as well makes this release a no brainer.

This film is one of the best of the year and a perfect blend of adapting of the novel and Kubrick's version of The Shining into a fantastic Shining sequel! Beautiful story!

Got this movie for an amazing price of $6 - super cheap! Took a while to receive due to the holidays but looking forward to watching this over and over...

Unfortunately I haven't read the book. So I really can't compare it to it. But this movie was great and Ewan McGregor doesn't disappoint.

If you are a fan, you’ll enjoy the package - i buy these for the digital mostly to watch any time on my amazon firestick but also to have the hard copies for 4k

Great movie!!! This is the sequel to THE SHINING, so watch that first. Great acting, great story, ties in to the original greatly!! This movie exceded my expectations!

As I watched the movie, I felt like I'd seen it before. But it was actually that the movie followed the book closely enough, I had already pictured it in my mind when I read the book. Recommend it. Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson are great.

Didn't realize when I bought it that it's related to another famous movie (not going to spoil it here). Taught, logical plot with plenty of twists. Recommended.

This was an excellent movie. I read the book and the movie stayed true to the book. It was great to get a continuation from The Shining, to know what happened to Danny.

A story of magic and miracles. Redemption and shock. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat, and not to do without splendid trepidation.

I was pleasantly pleased with this pretty much unknown sequel to the shining. Storyline was easy to follow and kept us in suspense throughout. Must watch

This movie was kind of creepy and gut wrenching but it was satisfying to see when the bad guys getting what they deserve!! Bad doesn't win against good!

I was never a fan of the Shining, didn't think it was scary or very good. I was glad to see this wasn't a total re-hash of that old piece of garbage. Pleasantly surprised. I felt this movie was scarier and more suspenseful.

I can’t believe this movie underperformed while it was out in theaters. It is a worthy sequel to The Shinning and deserved to be recognized as such.
