This movie gave me a few doubts when watching the preview but after purchasing it and watching I officially love it .

Doctor Sleep is so good & so original. I love this movie so much it'll be on rotation every October from here on out.

Doctor Sleep holds it's own compared to The Shining. They compliment each other very well. Director's cut is awesome.

Like all Best Buy 4K steelbooks, the package is the sell point. The art work - a collage of younger Danny from the Shining inside the silhouette of contemporary Danny - is much better than the standard UHD cover art. The movie, however, is a very workmanlike, no frills supernatural thriller by Mike Flannigan which, in slavishly adhering to the source material, missed the essence of Kubrick's film. It's serviceable if unspectacular. However, the picture quality looks great on my LG OLED. A fine disk for technical reasons.
