This movie is the sequel to The Shining, it tells the story of what happens to Danny Torrance now that he's grown and still dealing with spirits.

The sequel to the Shining, it's hard to put into words the expectations I had for this movie. I read the book and was so excited to see this movie, but was disappointed with how it strayed from the book. I know that happens, but with how this book was written I was disappointed. I loved the footage from the Shining that was used to tie everything together. And I feel like the cast was perfect, Ewan McGregor makes for a wonderful adult Danny.

Great flick i like it better then the shining Sorry not sorry

This is not something I would watch but my daughter wanted it for her collection. So she'll get it for Christmas among other things.

Who knew there would be a sequel to The Shining? Of course nothing will match the original, but this movie still provides entertainment value.

Having enjoyed my original stay at the Overlook Hotel during The Shining, I had to check in again and watch Doctor Sleep. It didn't disappoint!
