[Employee of bestbuy] Excellent game for all ages! Great Graphics, Great Gameplay! It is mainly a single-player game but allows someone to contribute to the chaos for better or worse! Every Switch 2 owner should have this in their collection.

Donkey Kong Bonanza is an absolute blast from start to finish! Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the classic Donkey Kong series or brand new to the fun, this is pure entertainment at its best. Everything about it is vibrant, exciting, and full of energy. The atmosphere pulls you right in, the gameplay is smooth, and there’s a perfect balance of challenge and fun that keeps you hooked. The attention to detail is phenomenal—every little moment feels crafted with care, and it’s clear the people behind this truly love what they’re doing. It’s nostalgic while still feeling fresh and modern, which is no easy task. I found myself smiling the whole time and didn’t want it to end. So much fun. This is the Switch 2 version of the flagship Mario game. Great gameplay, controls and very entertaining. Lots of fun side quests and level up mechanics.

Awesome game hands down. Game of the year contender for a reason. Smooth gameplay. Cool story and characters. Really good playthrough fun for hours.

So I almost never pay full price for games. I usually wait a year or two for them to drop in price, but I heard such good things about this game I decided to pick it up. As someone who has played every Mario and Donkey Kong game ever made, my expectations were pretty high for this one. Well it absolutely did not disappoint! This is a beautifully crafted game with an amazing use of a largely destructible world. It makes for an experience that can be best described as chaotic elegance. I got bogged down at first until I figured out I didn't actually have to destroy every single piece of destructible ground, wall and ceiling to get every single shiny item available. After that revelation I focused on exploring areas, reaching check points and moving toward the main objectives and had a ton of fun along the way!

This have is very fun and there are many hidden bananas and lots of levels.

Game of the Year. This game has no flaws. It's a very addictive game from start to finish. Probably the only games that costs what it does and is still worth full price.

Fantastic game, I never played any of the other Donkey Kong games. But I loved Super Mario Odyssey. This is a true successor and the game is SO huge! Smooth gameplay, funny moments & just overall so fun!

Nothing to dislike, this game keeps you hooked. Im just smashing and smashing sway trying to unlock or collect as mych as i can but the game runs smooth good story

This game is a blast, and why wouldn't it be? It's made by the Mario Odyssey team and nails that game's sense of exploration and humor. Combine all that with unique, enjoyable physics as well as movement/climbing/attack mechanics that fully convey DK's abilities as a character with verticality and climbing, and you have something special. Characters are fun, visuals are vibrant and snappy, and the music is solid too. Very recommended!

Love this game. The colors are vibrant, the music is so good, and the gameplay is so much fun. You can get lost in destroying/exploring the world and it’s the best feeling. Definitely worth buying.

After more than 20 years of waiting for a new 3D DK game, by the time you finish this one, you’ll be left wondering what took them so long. An incredibly addictive game that practically begs to be 100% completed, but is just as much fun for the speedrunners and those looking for a more casual playthrough as well. Consider picking it up for your kids, or treat yourself to one of the most inventive and creative games Nintendo’s ever put out.

If you're familiar with the Marioverse you probably have played the games of Super Mario and Donkey Kong. And if you've played them, you have a head start into the world of Donkey Kong Bananza! Kong is back and he's ready to go ape, finding banadium gems, gold and other nifty things to get you toward the goal of beating the baddies... Plus there's lots of chances to jump, punch, grind and throw stuff, which is as satisfying as you can imagine! Sometimes you'll get lost in the worlds, but don't worry and just keep punching stuff! The fun never ends!

I had high hopes for this game and it far exceeded any expectation I had. Donkey Kong Bananza is one of the best games that I have ever played. It is so creative that I am surprised no game has ever been made like it before. I bought my Switch 2 on the second day it came out and if this was the only Switch 2 exclusive game I would say the console upgrade was worth it. I cannot recall a game being this good in many years. This game is fantastic and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a Switch 2.
