Fantastic game feels like a Mario game but better with complete destructible environment and great story, nice to see DK get a fun game

Yeah this game is amazing. A lot of people will get caught up on the terrain destruction, and DKs redesign (I'm still not over it myself). This game has so much interesting techniques for skilled players, and also has good work arounds for less skilled players. I never felt like I was messing up a puzzle or challenge like I would in the BotW/TotK Zelda games puzzle sections if I skipped something or brute forced it.

Donkey Kong Bonanza is a blast! The graphics are bright, the controls feel smooth, and the levels are creative. It brings back classic Donkey Kong vibes while still feeling fresh. Buying it from Best Buy was easy and hassle-free. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Donkey Kong Bananza is easily one of the most fun games on the Switch 2. Its biggest strength is total freedom: you don’t just move through levels, you destroy them and create your own path, making every playthrough feel different. The gameplay is fast, creative, and extremely satisfying, with fresh mechanics and spectacular moments. Plus, the addition of Pauline adds a special touch to both the gameplay and the story. While it has minor issues like camera control and low difficulty, they don’t take away from what matters most: it’s incredibly fun.

Overdue thoughts, but what I've played of this game (one of many I need to get back to) has been very fun. Super Mario Odyssey crossed with Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Only time the performance slowed down for me was an extended boss fight at (what I assume to be) the haofway point with a lot of stuff flying across the screen. Otherwise, it's using the power of the Switch 2 well.

This game has turned off some players due to a “slow” opening. It does take a little bit to start cooking….but once it does, it’s an unforgettable experience. The finale is jaw-dropping and the relationship between DK and Pauline is among the best I’ve experienced in a videogame in a long time. So simply but thoughtfully written and fully realized by the time the credits roll.

Best game so far that's release for the switch 2. It's a very exciting game. Enjoy coming home just to play after work

Should have been the debit title for Seitch 2. Lots of destroying land, fun coop, cool story.

I had never played a DK game before Bananza so I was at first apprehensive to play it but oh boy was I wrong. Smashing stuff is so much fun and the animations, music, and gameplay mechanics are awesome. A must play on the Switch 2

This game is nothing short of brilliant. From the team that brought us Super Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong Bananza feels familiar, yet astonishingly innovative. The game looks incredible, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. There are a few frame dips here and there when pushing the game to its limits, but instances of this were very rare and were not significant enough to take away from my enjoyment. This is the first truly great game on the Switch 2, and simply a must-play.

Amazing game, just dont buy the dlc. I feel like the dlc should have been included with the base game but considering the base game is actually AMAZING I can forgive making everyone pay extra for nostalgia.

Fun and easy game to pick up and play anytime. Feels more like a puzzle game than anything else. Multiplayer isn’t the best but they allowance of another player on their console without owning the game is a great addition.

Donkey Kong Bananza on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a vibrant, chaotic platformer packed with personality. Tight controls, inventive level design, and playful mechanics keep things fresh. This is a fun game once you get used to breaking everything. It can be a little tedious, but an overall fun experience. You can totally tell this was developed by the makers of Mario Odyssey for or worse. It doesn't feel like a Donkey Kong game, but that's ok because it's still fun.
