This game is nothing short of brilliant. From the team that brought us Super Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong Bananza feels familiar, yet astonishingly innovative. The game looks incredible, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. There are a few frame dips here and there when pushing the game to its limits, but instances of this were very rare and were not significant enough to take away from my enjoyment. This is the first truly great game on the Switch 2, and simply a must-play.

My son had the original switch from the first day it was available. He absolutely loves it however, I will say he’s more obsessed with the switch 2.

I love this game. It's a whole lot of fun. It's entertaining to move around punching through everything and destroying everything. It's like a world of satisfying stress relief. A lot of fun.

Game is awesome. If you liked Mario Odyssey, this is a great game for you. I'm a huge Donkey Kong fan and this game is amazing. You will not be disappointed.

-Spoiler free review - Super fun. 20 hours in as of the time of writing this. I'm a completionist, so this game scratches the itch. The game is linear to a degree, but you can destroy almost all terrain. Game is 2p for younger kiddos who don't understand how to navigate a 3D space. Highly recommend for fans of the series, as they like to do throwbacks to older titles in fun ways.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is honestly a great upgrade if you enjoy playing both on the TV and on the go. The new screen looks much brighter and sharper, and the console feels faster overall. Games load quicker, the graphics look cleaner, and everything runs more smoothly.

This is my personal game of the year for 2025. 3D Donkey Kong is back and more outstanding than ever. Was a bold move by Nintendo to give us 3D Donkey Kong as Nintendo Switch 2’s first big platformer

Incredible game. Can have some frame rate difficulties but overall the experience is worth the price.

What can I say that probably hasn’t been said about Donkey Kong Bananza already? This game is a 10/10 experience that I have played for hours upon hours. Just smashing through terrain alone gives this deep sense of satisfaction that I couldn’t get enough of. If you haven’t already, get this game. I can’t recommend it enough.

This is THE switch 2 game, no quesions about it. There are 2 types of people in this world; those who have played DK Bananza and those who havent. I feel bad for people who haven’t played it as they may never experience true happiness in their entire lifetimes. Please make the right choice- be the person who played this game. It is worth $70 100% of the time 24/7 365. Cinema. Cinema. Cinema.
