A fun open-world collectathon made by the team that made Mario Odyssey and a love letter to the Country Series that made DK a system seller to begin with. The gameplay is fun and destructive while having plenty to explore and the new movement abilities are fun to utilize. Would gladly recommend

Really fun entry into the Donkey Kong franchise. The game controls really well and the visuals are bright and fun. No issues running it on the Switch 2.

Donkey Kong Bananza is an absolute blast! My husband and I are both adults, and we didn’t expect to fall in love with this game — but here we are, totally hooked. It’s fun, colorful, and the perfect mix of nostalgic charm and fresh, exciting gameplay. We’ve had so much fun competing and laughing through each level that I actually had to order a second copy just so I could play on my own Switch — my husband is way too hooked and won’t share his anymore! If you’re looking for something lighthearted, entertaining, and perfect for solo or duo play, this game is it. 10/10 would recommend for couples, families, or anyone who loves a good Donkey Kong adventure!

Donkey Kong Bananza is unlike any other DK game out there. It's a fresh approach to the game. It's hands-down one of, if not, the best game out currently for NS2. I've got probably 100+ hours in the game and just beat the main story. If you need to take out some frustration, just hope on Bananza and you can pretty much destroy anything. Not only that, destroying things is actually part of the process. It's how you find hidden chests and other items. This game should be added to everyone's collection.

Donkey Kong Bonanza is a blast! The graphics are bright, the controls feel smooth, and the levels are creative. It brings back classic Donkey Kong vibes while still feeling fresh. Buying it from Best Buy was easy and hassle-free. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This game transports me back to the days of the Nintendo 64! The graphics, mechanics, and scenery are all top-notch! This is definitely a must have with the new Switch 2!

At last showing a bit more love for our iconic banana loving mascot and finally getting a new game under his belt. If you played Mario Odyssey then you'll definitely feel a connection between these two games but overall still a great semi-open world with major diversity of levels and characters to enjoy. If there's any real complaint it would be the camera as there's still some major issues at times with its functionality especially if you're going underground on a level you're playing as you can quickly become disoriented. Still while pricey it's definitely a great game to have for any Switch 2 owner and one many Switch 2 owners wouldn't mind underneath the Christmas tree this year.

In any other generation by any other developer, this would have been a tech demo. Instead Nintendo managed to make a 3D platformer based entirely around terrain destruction and made it work wonderfully. The game itself was made by the same team that created Super Mario Odyssey, and you can tell. The whole thing oozes quality and is polished until it shines like a (banana) gem. Cannot recommend enough. This is a must-have if you've got a Switch 2.

This is a fun game once you get used to breaking everything. It can be a little tedious, but an overall fun experience. You can totally tell this was developed by the makers of Mario Odyssey for or worse. It doesn't feel like a Donkey Kong game, but that's ok because it's still fun.

This game is amazing. There's so much destruction and I can continuously play for hours without stopping. Definitely would recommend.

It's just a fun game. I've been playing nintendo games since the first system came out. Donkey Kong was always a favorite.

I had never played a DK game before Bananza so I was at first apprehensive to play it but oh boy was I wrong. Smashing stuff is so much fun and the animations, music, and gameplay mechanics are awesome. A must play on the Switch 2

Yeah this game is amazing. A lot of people will get caught up on the terrain destruction, and DKs redesign (I'm still not over it myself). This game has so much interesting techniques for skilled players, and also has good work arounds for less skilled players. I never felt like I was messing up a puzzle or challenge like I would in the BotW/TotK Zelda games puzzle sections if I skipped something or brute forced it.

Amazing game, just dont buy the dlc. I feel like the dlc should have been included with the base game but considering the base game is actually AMAZING I can forgive making everyone pay extra for nostalgia.

Story was a good time all the way through and it was really refreshing to have DK have a big role in a game.
