Really fun game for the Nintendo Switch 2. Great graphics, fun story. My family loves it.

Game of the Year. This game has no flaws. It's a very addictive game from start to finish. Probably the only games that costs what it does and is still worth full price.

Donkey Kong Bonanza keeps everything I already like about Donkey Kong, but the big upgrade here is seeing it in a full 3D world—and that part really is exciting. The core gameplay is a lot of fun. My main issue is the visual readability during fast action: the screen can get so bright and color-heavy that the foreground and background start to blend together. When the background scenery isn’t toned down, it can be harder to judge depth and react quickly. Weirdly, it made me appreciate what games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild do with distant haze/softening to separate what’s important from what’s just scenery—Bonanza could benefit from something similar. One other note: playing docked with a Pro Controller, the response time feels slightly “off,” like there’s a small bit of input lag compared to similar games. Overall, I’m having a great time with it. With the price tag, I’d just recommend making sure it’s your kind of game (and checking a few other reviews too), since this is based on limited time with it. Enjoy!

So I almost never pay full price for games. I usually wait a year or two for them to drop in price, but I heard such good things about this game I decided to pick it up. As someone who has played every Mario and Donkey Kong game ever made, my expectations were pretty high for this one. Well it absolutely did not disappoint! This is a beautifully crafted game with an amazing use of a largely destructible world. It makes for an experience that can be best described as chaotic elegance. I got bogged down at first until I figured out I didn't actually have to destroy every single piece of destructible ground, wall and ceiling to get every single shiny item available. After that revelation I focused on exploring areas, reaching check points and moving toward the main objectives and had a ton of fun along the way!

Game is amazing. Love all the different levels. Super fun. Can't stop playing!!!

After more than 20 years of waiting for a new 3D DK game, by the time you finish this one, you’ll be left wondering what took them so long. An incredibly addictive game that practically begs to be 100% completed, but is just as much fun for the speedrunners and those looking for a more casual playthrough as well. Consider picking it up for your kids, or treat yourself to one of the most inventive and creative games Nintendo’s ever put out.

Nothing to dislike, this game keeps you hooked. Im just smashing and smashing sway trying to unlock or collect as mych as i can but the game runs smooth good story

Fantastic game, I never played any of the other Donkey Kong games. But I loved Super Mario Odyssey. This is a true successor and the game is SO huge! Smooth gameplay, funny moments & just overall so fun!

If you're familiar with the Marioverse you probably have played the games of Super Mario and Donkey Kong. And if you've played them, you have a head start into the world of Donkey Kong Bananza! Kong is back and he's ready to go ape, finding banadium gems, gold and other nifty things to get you toward the goal of beating the baddies... Plus there's lots of chances to jump, punch, grind and throw stuff, which is as satisfying as you can imagine! Sometimes you'll get lost in the worlds, but don't worry and just keep punching stuff! The fun never ends!

A game that was revealed with just the leader of the bunch and a rock turns out to be a master piece. Between the story and the demolition of the levels it is perfect

Love this game. The colors are vibrant, the music is so good, and the gameplay is so much fun. You can get lost in destroying/exploring the world and it’s the best feeling. Definitely worth buying.

Mario odyssey for DK! It’s a must have for switch 2 owners. It’s a lot like Mario odyssey in the sense that it has that big open area feel and your searching for bananas instead of moons. However it can eat your time away just breaking everything in the world and I mean everything!

I had high hopes for this game and it far exceeded any expectation I had. Donkey Kong Bananza is one of the best games that I have ever played. It is so creative that I am surprised no game has ever been made like it before. I bought my Switch 2 on the second day it came out and if this was the only Switch 2 exclusive game I would say the console upgrade was worth it. I cannot recall a game being this good in many years. This game is fantastic and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a Switch 2.

I knew I wanted to play this game, but it exceeded all my expectations. This game is phenomenal and now my new favorite game. It just is absolutely perfect and beautiful in every way.

It's been since 1998 or so that we had a 3D Donkey Kong game which came to N64 with Donkey Kong 64. Now 27 years later, we finally got it and it awesome. You will not be disappointed. If you love Super Mario Odyssey, you'll love this.

Such a fun game. An obvious spiritual successor to Super Mario Odyssey, this game has so many things to keep you smiling. It's fun to smash, it's fun to solve puzzles, and it's fun to buy the new costumes. An upgraded skill tree is also a nice touch. A must have for any Switch two owner, young and old.

Donkey Kong Bananza is easily one of the most fun games on the Switch 2. Its biggest strength is total freedom: you don’t just move through levels, you destroy them and create your own path, making every playthrough feel different. The gameplay is fast, creative, and extremely satisfying, with fresh mechanics and spectacular moments. Plus, the addition of Pauline adds a special touch to both the gameplay and the story. While it has minor issues like camera control and low difficulty, they don’t take away from what matters most: it’s incredibly fun.
