So glad they gave this game a Funky Mode which is an easier difficulty level so anyone can enjoy the beauty and cheer of feeling like you're on vacation in a tropical island. I've never played Donkey Kong before and I'm really loving the break from dark and dragging titles on the other consoles. A good excuse to get back to the Switch and remember the days when video games were supposed to be fun!

Fun game, over priced for sure though. Funky mode makes it easier, solid graphics, good 2d platformer that continues the DK country series nicely. Good game at around $25

Adult gamer that loved the old SNES titles and this one is a modern fantastic take on those side-scrolling versions. It is challenging and entertaining.

Just like a lot of people I used to love playing Donkey Kong country on the Super Nintendo. It was fun and had great graphics. Let me tell you! This new version doesn’t disappoint! Such a great game to add to the collection. Looks amazing and fun to play. I would totally recommend getting this new version of Donkey Kong!

If you like Super Mario Bros U then you will like this! Game was sealed/brand new and functions as it should. Checkout at Atlantic Center Best Buy was fast and staff were friendly.

I have played several DK titles over the years and found all of them fun and enjoyable. This one is no different and had cleverly done levels. It looks great on Switch and the inclusion of Easy mode is great as I try to turn my 4 year old on to video games. If you own a Switch, like Donkey Kong or Mario games then you need to purchase this.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on the Switch is a direct port from the Wii U version of the game with some added features, most notably 'Funky Mode' which makes the game slightly easier to play, and adding Funky Kong as a playable character. Anyone who enjoys this style of platformer, or needs a nostalgic trip, this is a must have game for you.

This game is a lot of fun even though it gets kind of tricky at some point. Graphics are wonderful, the graphics look amazing.

Bought it for my 11 yr old and she loved it.. is a really fun game

This is a great game, no matter what system it is on, but it may not be worth buying it again for the Switch if you have the WiiU version. My son likes that he can take the game with him on the Switch and he likes Funky Mode which makes the game a little easier than normal. If you don’t care about either of these things and have the WiiU version, spend your money on a new game.

1 of my favorite switch games kind of difficult but still a very good game

I enjoy the fluid gameplay of DK on the Switch OLED. Classic gaming formula that takes you back to the SNES but obviously updated for the Switch’s capabilities.

It’s a fun game. There are difficult parts but it keeps you engaged.
