I had such fond memories of Donkey Kong Country on the SNES that I had to buy this game when I got the switch... I didn't buy a WiiU. It looks like it being a side scroller, and feels sorta like it, but the controls are a little odd... Takes a few sessions to get used to it. I honestly found DK64 to be more fun, but it's still a good play.

It was a gift for my son. He liked playing Donkey Kong. It is a great game!

Donkey Kong Country on Super Nintendo was always my favorite game so I was super excited to have this on switch. It gets really difficult but still really good.

If you played on the WiiU this isn't going to be a surprise, but for anyone new this is one of the best DK style games there are. It's fast paced and fun with great style and if you enjoy this type of game it's worth playing.

It's a pretty fun game, but a little too similar to the last one. Same type of play where if you get stuck on a level, you're just stuck. Would love to see a remake, or just similar game play, to DK64. I've been playing Mario Odyssey, which is a ton of fun, and this DK game just doesn't quite measure up for being the same price. If you like side-scrolling games and have liked previous DK games, then you'll like this one.

This is my favorite game ever made, the worlds are beautiful and varied, the level design is top notch and the soundtrack is incredible. I could gush all day about this game. I will buy this game on every platform they will ever put it on

My wife had wanted this for the Wii U but we never got around to buying it. We finally picked it up when it came out for the Switch. We have so much fun playing this together and it brings back great memories of the original Donkey Kong Country games.

Game reminds me if the wii version and its fun little bit less nais to plsy on but none the less good purchase

Definitely an interesting game. Playing coop has been a bit of a hassle in terms of trying to survive and save balloons LOL. Nonetheless its a great game! Kids will love this!

I feel a little stupid buying this after I already and purchased and played it on my Wii-U... but you have to have it. I find myself replacing most of my U games for the Switch. This game was never easy but a ton of fun.

Another Wii U port that once again improves tremendously on Switch. It's a platformer that you can play with a friend or alone. It's a lot of fun and a must have for platformer fans.

Donkey Kong is a great game that has been a Nintendo franchise for years. This game just takes it to the next level. The funky mode makes it a great addition the game but it's also fun to play it in original mode with donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.

Loved it. I use to play Donkey Kong when it first came out.
