I loved Donkey Kong Country way back on Super Nintendo and was excited to see this come to the switch. If you played it on WiiU, you may not see any reason to purchase it again, but if you haven't and love donkey kong games, buy it.

I play this with my 6 year old and we have tons of fun. Lives up to its predecessor games. Been waiting forever for another DK Country game since the SNES and was not disappointed.

Played this game on the Wii U and four years after the original release, the game still holds up incredibly well. The new playable character Funky Kong is actually refreshing to play as for veteran players or newcomers alike.

This game is pretty good. It reminds me of the old Super Nintendo game, but it different in its own way.

Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze's addition of Funky Mode makes it more accessible without reducing the formidable platforming difficulty to a walk in the park. There's still a lot of challenge, even with the extra help Donkey’s Funky uncle affords. But the Switch version manages to take just enough of an edge off a punishing game to let the fun platforming outshine its difficulty.

Better graphics than the WII U version but eessitialy same exact game play. Loading times are slightly faster as well. Best Buy price matched the other retailers with ease.

If you enjoy any Donkey Kong game, you’ll love this game.
