Played this game on the Wii U and four years after the original release, the game still holds up incredibly well. The new playable character Funky Kong is actually refreshing to play as for veteran players or newcomers alike.

I was always a fan of Donkey Kong games in the past, and I wanted to pick this one up as well. I must say, wow! What an amazing game! Very addicting and unique style of platform game. Do yourself a favor and pick this gem up.

Relive the classic Donkey Kong but with a modern twist!

Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze's addition of Funky Mode makes it more accessible without reducing the formidable platforming difficulty to a walk in the park. There's still a lot of challenge, even with the extra help Donkey’s Funky uncle affords. But the Switch version manages to take just enough of an edge off a punishing game to let the fun platforming outshine its difficulty.

Awesome game. It brings me back to the classics of Donkey Kong Country on SNES

I wanted this game cause I’ve been a fan of DK since I was a kid. It’s okay, but I don’t get the hype as one of the best switch games. Definitely challenging, and fun to play for short periods but definitely doesnt hook me for hours because it gets a little repetitive. Easy game to pick up and put down whenever, but with some challenging gameplay.

Always been a great underrated platform. Worth it if you like platforms and a challenge.

The game is bright and colorful. The gameplay is fluid. It' can get challenging in areas but it's fun to play, well most of the time.

Bought this game because I missed playing Donkey Kong Country on Super Nintendo. Love that the characters look the same and the functionality of the levels are the same side view. Loving it so far!

My grandson enjoys it very much he plays an hour a day that is his allowed time.

Really enjoy this game. I play this over and over again. I would and have recommended this game. Not to difficult. If you haven't tried this game you should. It is fun.
