This brings back memories of the snes DK country games. Way updated graphics and level design. Still very hard. Great if you like that type of game.

Donkey Kong is always a fun game and this is no exception, great addition to series

I have only played it a little so far but I'm very happy with it. It's a little too hard for my 3 yo, but I probably shouldn't have expected it to be playable. It is actually very playable as a team game with a younger kid (as long as one of you knows what they're doing :) ). If you enjoyed Donkey Kong Country Returns, you will definitely like this. I miss the Kremlins from the original Rare games, but all the Kongs are present and lots of fun to play. Funky is especially fun. My one complaint is that Nintendo just keeps repackaging old games and charging full price. But hey, it's an awesome game and worth buying if you never played it.

Fun game, levels are long and challenging. Could be too difficult for younger children

My wife and I have enjoyed this classic and has brought back good memories for me. Challenging for us, but we're not very good haha. Still able to eventually conquer the levels together. My wife loves it and she's never been into gaming much.

hardest donkey kong ever with the best addictive game play in a long time. best since Donkey Kong 64

This is one of the best DK country games ever made as well as just the best 2D platformer ever made. Super fun and accessible, especially with the new mechanic with Funky Kong. I highky reccommend this game as its a blast of fun with a banger soundtrack youll have stuck in your head for ages.

This is a beautiful remastered game from the original Wii U. It is challenging but the graphics and music are top of the line.

One of the best platformers of all time and an absolute blast to play by yourself or with a friend. This also includes an "easy mode" by picking a certain character to play that you cannot lose with - so it is great for those just learning to play and to play with your spouse who may just not have that skill to keep up with your pro-gamer approach to games
