Fun game to play and can get very difficult so patience is required!

One of the best platformers we've played in the last 10 years. This is a great throwback to the platformers of the 90's, but with conveniences of modern games (such as saving and co-op) and beautiful graphics. The game is challenging, but fair. It has a fun co-op mode that encourages teamplay. The soundtrack/music is excellent too.

I enjoyed playing the Donkey Kong games while growing up, and I was excited to hear about the release of this game. The Switch adaptation was done very well, and I have enjoyed playing through this game. It is great for gamers of all ages, and has a high repeatability. Being able to play and take breaks as needed is a great feature on the Nintendo Switch.

The review is for best buy. The game is 5 stars. I ordered this for pickup with another game during the mario sale. It was over 2 weeks and they couldn't give an estimate of when i would be able to pick up the game but when you checked online they had copies for sale. And even around in other stores they had copies yet i had to change ny pickup to delivery just to be able to get the game so they didn't cancel my order. Sad to say this was for a birthday present that was 2 weeks late. Son loves the game just disappointed in how best buy handled the situation.

I have always loved the Donkey Kong games. This one is fun to play and you can make it easier by playing in Funky Kong mode until you get the hang of it. It's nice to be able to do that. I wish other games had this feature. Sometimes the game is too hard and you get frustrated and give up. This game eliminates that problem.

Fun game to play ! Took me back to the old school days.

Donkey Kong Country was one of my favorite games as a kid. This game perfectly captures that difficulty and charm of the original and brings it into the next generation with a brilliant, bright world. The Funky Kong "easy mode" isn't for experienced players, but can be a lifesaver when you have a younger player who gets easily frustrated that wants to join in.

bought the game to play with my boyfriend and it is actually two player for the whole game unlike other listed switch games. It’s very similar concept to the N 64 model Games and I love that it just reminds me of previous consoles but as an upgraded game

Its a fun game ,but its not easy to pass to the next level

The DKC series has been one of my favorites since the first release on SNES in the 90s. There's a unique sense of movement that Donkey Kong and co. have in this series that doesn't feel like any other game in this genre. With the more recent games, the difficulty has been pumped up higher than ever, so if you love challenging games, DKC:TF has plenty to offer.

This a great DK country game. It's super fun, and although it's challenging, it's never unfairly hard.

Great price over the holidays for a really fun game. My nephew played it for hours upon hours. Not too difficult and just the right amount of fun!

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson and he's all but mastered it. It's so much fun watching him play. His little body animating the moves.

If you love donkey Kong and especially the donkey Kong country series that dates back to Super Nintendo then this game is a must buy! Same and surpassing energy of non stop family fun as the true kings of the jungle the KONGS! not too easy not to difficult...perfect and fun for all ages!

This is the most fun DK yet. Funky is an easier fun to use character that allows the game to be played quicker and more casually. The original DK is offered for the old school difficult DK feel.

It’s Donkey Kong with some extras. You can choose to pay as another character which makes the games easier. It has some difficulty settings. Other than, that it’s your classic side-scrolling monkey collecting bananas and letters to reach the end of the level. Love it!

This game was a gift for our son. It was a childhood game and we got it for him as a surprise Christmas gift. He really likes the game.

Retro Studios went from Metroid Prime to Donkey Kong. At first I was a bit disappointed, but it was soon apparent that Retro was just as good at making Donkey Kong games as they had been at making Metroid games. Challenging, but not too challenging. The visuals are nice, the controls feel right, and the music is composed by the great David Wise.
