Its been fun to play with despite not playing the game for over a decade. Have me old feelings of fun and joy again while making me fuel nostalgic from once before.

Thank God for funky mode! I am getting older and don't have the reflexes of a kid, so an easier mode is right up my alley. The quality of this game is stellar and is a must own for any serious Nintendo head. Buy it when it goes on sale.

This is my second Donkey Kong, with the original Donkey King Country being the first. Despite the large time gap between both games, Retro Studios found a way to modernize the Donkey Kong world visually without compromising the key formula that made the original so great.

I had this game on the Wii U and had a blast playing it. I unfortunately never got around to finish it so I knew I had to get the Switch version. I love the franchise and I hope more new games come out. Highly recommend this one!

My kids have a lot of fun with this game. It even has some characters with abilities that make the game easier for my younger kids.

One of the BEST 2D side scrollers of the HD era. I'm glad Nintendo didn't leave this one on the commercially ill-fated but highly capable Wii U. MUST HAVE!!!

One of my top 5 platformers is now on the Switch. Tropical Freeze is challenging yet not punishing perfect for great fun for all ages. Funky Kong adds a nice mix to the gameplay making it easier and enjoyable for new comers. I love Donkey Kong Country games and this has to be my favorite of the series.

This game is fantastic! Brings me back to my old school SNES days when I played Donkey Kong Country. The levels, colors, music, controls - Nintendo did it again. New play mechanics have been added and it seems more challenging than ever. I am playing it on an LG OLED and the graphics are awesome.

Overall great game! Bought this for my son, I ended up playing instead! This game reminds me of the Original Donkey Kong game that I use to play as a kid. Only reason I gave it a four was because Best Buy always meses up my address even though I verify all my info before purchasing. They end up not delivering and I have to go to the store and pick up. Its annoying, second time its happened. Other than that, recommend the game!

Just as fun as the original. Wish there were bongos like the original but still lots of fun.

I get wrapped up in this game for hours. Donkey Kong has always been a favorite and we enjoy playing multi-player as well. This game does not disappoint and it provides challenging levels to keep you entertained.

I can’t sleep. I can’t eat. I definitely can’t pry my eyes away from Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze long enough to live any real life. I used to have dreams of being a successful rockstar & touring the world with my band Clementine but this is my life now. Buyer be warned.. this game is dope.

Game is very fun to play. Reminds me of the old Donkey Kong i played growing up back in the day. Purchased for my nephews and they can’t put it down. Happy to purchase my gaming systems through Best Buy because I know they are original and priced right.

Very fun game. I was first introduced to this style of Donkey Kong game back in the SNES days, and this is a similar game, with slick graphics and fun side-scrolling action.

Love it ! Prefer the original version but this is great as well.
