I played Donkey Kong growing up on the Arcade games, Nintendo, and SNES. Now my kids get to play the new and improved version.

This game is fast paced and challenging, while offering easier difficulty options for those who just want to go through the story. A great Donkey Kong installment!

This was the coolest Donkey Kong ive ever played even I even played Funky Kong.

Personally, I don't play video games and I wouldn't know Donkey Kong from King Kong. But my grandson requested this for his eighth birthday. Since it was small I wrapped it and put it in a larger box. When he opened the larger box and saw the smaller package he wanted to know what's going on? Grandma (of course) said "Good things come in small packages" When he opened it, he agreed ! He was thrilled with this gift. Grandma and I are superstars and we're all happy.

I'm still impressed with the visual quality the switch gives us in this game. It's fun to play with another person too, you might need it it's pretty difficult!

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is full of charm, attention to detail and variety. The level design is still the best that the genre has had in recent years

I found this game at the last minute and was a hit for a Christmas gift.

Was the best gift for my nephews birthday party. He loved it! Side note: it was an actual gift that my 9 year old nephew could open—not a gift card.

I’m just glad they have Donkey Kong for the Switch now. I have no complaints, I’m really enjoying this game plus it’s just bringing back memories when I was a kid.

For being the first time playing a donkey Kong game I had a lot of fun. My husband and I played and the graphics are good too.

So much fun to play and super addicting! Kind of like the old school version. Different story line . But you can actually play 2 players at once on the game !

If you missed this game on the Wii U, you gotta check it out on the Switch. Any fan of 2D platformers should give it a chance!
